The jury’s still out...
Bought this two weeks ago, and have seen some improvement in my 14 yr old Border Terrier who has become less adaptable with age, but he still shivers and shakes to some degree. Full Vet check gave him clean bill if health, but advised to give Adaptil time.... don’t always work as quickly as we expect or would like.... time will tell.

Great for nervous dogs
I bought the Adaptil collar for my dog to go into kennels and it seemed to calm him down and wasn't stressed when we brought him back home.

Worked on my 5year old collie
I bought this for my 5 year old male collie who is anxious and frightened of most things. It does work. At the beginning when the collar was new, he did look a little 'spaced out' and he spent more time his basket. It has changed his behaviour, generally for the better as he is the same dog but more relaxed. He has been a little odd on some walks where he has almost seemed frightened and not wanting to go on a couple of walks he has done before. I have never seen this happen before, so I can only think that has something to do with the collar. You will find it is still your dog but a more chilled out version. The collar has no effect on aggression.

Not as good as the plug in
Item did not seem to have any affect. It might be because the collar needs to be a snug fit but my dog was not happy with it and a slight adjustment was ineffective. But personally I won't be buying it again.

No use whatsoever
We bought this for fireworks season and followed the instructions to the letter - it didn't come off for the full four weeks. The dog still went bonkers every time she heard a firework. No effect. Will have to try something else next year.
