Applaws Cat Dry Senior is a complete dry cat food tailored to meet the needs of senior cats and help them to maintain a healthy lifestyle, assisting the anti-ageing process. As cats age it is important to give them the right food for their changing needs. Applaws is 100% grain-free, made with 80% chicken and rich in MCT fats from coconut oil, which can help keep your cat stay mentally active for longer. Diets that use high levels of cereal as their source of protein can be hard for cats digest and metabolise. This may cause stress to the liver and kidneys and could lead to the development of sensitivities or allergies.

    Palatable

I have very fussy senior cats who get bored with their dry cat food after a few days. This stayed popular for longer and I shall buy again, especially as one of them has to have grain free! A sensible price too for this product.

    Older cat appreciates "Senior" range

My cat had been eating the adult version of Applaws dry food for years but now that he is an old gentleman he was finding it too rich, the Senior type suits him and his stomach much better now.

    MY CATS LOVE IT!

I have 2 senior cats and thought I had been feeding them good quality food until my vet pointed out how little protein was actually in the food. This got me thinking and I started looking for a higher protein food which is when I stumbled across Applaws. As any cat owner will tell you the food can be the most expensive you can buy with the healthiest mix of Ingredients but if your cat turns his/her nose up then it is a no go. I bought a small bag of Applaws the first time round, to do a gradual changeover, but I found after the first taste of Applaws they didn't want to go back to their previous food. They eat smaller portions of Applaws than they did of the last food which worried me at first, but they are healthy and have not lost any weight so they are obviously eating enough. The smaller portion also means the cost of Applaws is not as high as I thought as the bag lasts longer. My cats also have shinier coats and the one who had really dry skin which was concerning the vet now has lovely scale free skin. Two happy cats, one happy owner.

Excellent food that's made a huge difference

My 15 year old British Shorthair cat, Seamus, has been on Applaws for 5 years now, before which he'd been on a grain-inclusive diet. The immediate difference Applaws made was to his coat, which very quickly improved in shine and health. I also stopped buying flea drops/medication because fleas just didn't seem attracted to him, which I put it down to his immune system being so much better on a grain-free diet. Even at the grand age of 15, his health is good for his age (apart from some age-related arthritis). His coat is still shiny and healthy looking - he looks younger than he is. And he still hasn't had a single flea in 5 years. Highly recommended.

    My senior cat loves this

Started buying this about 6 months ago for my 13 yr old Devon Rex and what a difference it’s made! I’m now assuming he has had an undiagnosed food allergy as since I’ve switched him to this grain free food his eyes and nose have cleared up (vet always insisted it was chronic flu!) and his coat has improved too - less itchy and patchy. He absolutely loves it, and the pieces are a good size for older cats. overall I’m very pleased and my little guy is much healthier- only wish I’d switched sooner!
