A breeding ground for bacteria
Circulating water seems more prone to picking up and breeding bacteria and spores than still water. This is probably why, when I've been using water fountains (not just this one), my cats have sometimes become unwell. Even when the directions are followed, and the filters are kept clean, the pump builds up a film of bacteria which cannot do the cats any good, and is impossible to clean thoroughly. Much better, cheaper, and more environmentally friendly just to change a still bowl of water regularly, which you can completely clean every day with minimal effort.

Some cats love it, but some don’t
I love it and the sound and colour are gorgeous. Really worthwhile, but a couple of the cats are still wary.

Excellent item
Great item, easy to set up and get running. All 4 cats were using it before the day was out. particularly like how easy it is to clean, however I like to clean the pump out once a week, so will be attempting that tonight if at all possible. Also need to research where to buy the replacement filters.

My dog loves it
Bought this for our dog who keeps drinking out of muddy puddles or our water feature and it seems to of done the trick has come back in from the garden for a drink, lights us nicely but you can hear the trickle

It's a really great produce and the dogs love it. Would recommend the produce but not the delivery.
