Arden Grange Puppy/Junior Large Breed, formulated to meet the nutritional needs of developing large or giant breed puppies. Controlled energy & fat contents support growth without excess weight gain. Arden Grange Puppy/Junior Large Breed is formulated to ensure a controlled and steady growth rate to determines the future adult dog's proportions, body shape and overall health. The kibble size is perfect for larger breeds, and may be fed dry or moistened depending on preference.

  • Digestive Health - The large breed puppy requires a very highly digestible food that will ensure a balanced intestinal flora and a regular intestinal transit. Arden Grange uses high quality chicken as the primary ingredient because of its extremely high biological availability.
  • Maintenance of Optimum Weight - The controlled levels of pure chicken oil in Puppy Junior Large Breed ensure that sufficient fatty acids are available for development without providing calories surplus to the energy requirement.
  • Joint Care - Glucosamine (derived from the shells of crustaceans) provides the building blocks to synthesise new joint cartilage, whilst marine Chondroitin (derived from shark cartilage) helps to block destructive enzymes that break down cartilage. Both are safe and natural ingredients.
  • Immunity & Disease Prevention - The diet is fortified with the antioxidant Vitamins A, C, E and beta-carotene, as well as yucca, cranberry and rosemary extract. All of these potent natural antioxidants combine in the body to inhibit the formation of destructive free radicals. Yucca may also help to reduce body and faecal odour, whilst cranberry may aid in maintaining urinary tract health.

Feeding Recommendations: Arden Grange Puppy/Junior Large Breed is ideal to feed from 8 weeks until your puppy has reached adult height. After this you may change to one of the Arden Grange Adult diets.

Feeding Quantities: As well as your puppy's body weight; age, activity level, temperament, digestion and rate of metabolism may influence the amount of food required. See chart below for guidance. Always ensure fresh, clean drinking water is available.

    Good for very sensitive stomaches

Posted by emmstee on 16th Jan 2017

We have two gun dog puppies who frustratingly cannot just eat whatever's on offer in the local supermarket each week. Our lawn was ruined with all the diarrhoea and vomiting. They could manage Aatu but even that upset their stomachs, they even needed kelp dry mix added to it to help them digest it. We tried fresh homemade in a slow cooker in batches which is extremely costly and time consuming so we had to find a dry food they could eat and that we could afford. After some research I found a gun dog breeder who weened her puppies onto this brand which caught my interest. We tried it without even weening them onto a new food which was scary but they loved it. Immediately and I mean immediately the vomiting and diarrhoea stopped. Their digestion is perfect (without going into too much detail) our lawn is saved and they seem very content. Their coats look the best they've been even better than when we fed them Aatu which I think was too rich for them. A convert for life.

    Great All Round Complete Food

    Posted by Ash1234 on 17th Feb 2016

I started buying this after my Labrador Puppy had very loose poo's on another brand of food. We and especially He are delighted with it. He is now 8 months old weighs 34kg and is in fabulous shape with a lovely glossy coat. Highly recommended.

Very good for my Giant Schnauzer pup.

    Posted by Annie48 on 8th Feb 2016

I have a 6 month old Giant Schnauzer. She has been fed on Royal Canin Junior Maxi from being weaned. I have had her from 8 weeks. A couple of months ago she started having diarrhoea intermittently. I wondered if it was the Royal Canin, it looks quite greasy. I searched the web for suitable foods & decided to try Arden Grange Puppy/Junior, she loves it & within a day the diarrhoea stopped. I would defiantely recommend this food.
