Our table below is a guide. We know that every dog is as unique as the family they live with. Other factors including age, activity (marathon runners or couch potatoes!), metabolism and the time of year can also have an effect. Please check with your vet that your furry friend is at their correct healthy weight. Although your pooch may want to devour the whole bag we strongly recommend that you replace 25% of their existing food every other day until they are eating 100% Barking Heads.
Always ensure there is a fresh bowl of the wet stuff (water) at all times. As we only use optimum levels of nutrition, further supplementation is not recommended unless otherwise advised by a vet.

Definitely Trade Barked my black lab Purdey....
My black lab Purdey has expensive taste and he absolutely adores this food..... I treated him to the chicken treats and wet barking heads food and he now appears at 17:45 with his toy crocodile begging for his dinner.....

Love it!
We've been feeding our greyhound this and the lamb version for years. She still loves mealtime after all these years. We are certain this food is the reason for her shiny coat which is SO soft. Her tummy is stable on this with very little wind. I also like the added glucosamine for her joints.

Our 14 month old black Lab has been brought up on Barking Heads food and is fit and energetic, with a beautiful glossy coat that is much admired - this must surely be related to his diet

Packaging!!
Great product although I mistakenly ordered the large breed variety. Delivery was prompt and efficient but why do you use such wasteful packaging? I ordered 4 12kg bags, the first came in a sealed plastic bag but the other there were each put into separate cardboard boxes. When I order from my normal supplier it does not come in cardboard boxes. I would be more than happy just with a label on the Barking Heads bag.

Good for sensitive stomachs
Barking Heads are a great brand of dog food products. One of the highest percentage of real meat ingredients compared to rival brands. No fillers or other rubbish found in cheaper brands. One of the few kibble brands that doesn’t upset my Akitas stomach
