Our table below is a guide. We know that every dog is as unique as the family they live with. Other factors including age, activity (marathon runners or couch potatoes!), metabolism and the time of year can also have an effect. Please check with your vet that your furry friend is at their correct healthy weight. Although your pooch may want to devour the whole bag we strongly recommend that you replace 25% of their existing food every other day until they are eating 100% Barking Heads.
Always ensure there is a fresh bowl of the wet stuff (water) at all times. As we only use optimum levels of nutrition, further supplementation is not recommended unless otherwise advised by a vet.

Great for weight management and garden maintenance
We were buying food that had too high of a protein content and it was burning our lawn, brown patches everywhere. Since switching to Barking Heads, the lawn has recovered, and the dogs are maintaining their weight better. Everyone wins!

Great for windy Labrador
My 10 yo Labrador has been on this for a couple of weeks now after developing an intolerance to his previous food. Tummy all back to normal now even better he is a lot less windy and also to my relief he is not gaining any weight as he has a tendency to do. Will buy again.

The Best Quality

Quality ingredients at a fair price. Our Lab loves it but lets be fair, shed love anything, especially with a little hot water to make a gravy and to make meal time last a few seconds longer and a carrot.

Big dog delight!
My dog loves this brand, as do we the under loving care is gentle on his tummy meaning he smells far better! It's also cheaper on ocado than it is in the local pet shops.
