My dog LOVES this food and licks the bowl long after she finished. It smells nice for humans too unlike many other dog food. Ingredients all seem perfect for the older dog too.

Smeegle has spent most of his life on Almo Nature Holistic but now he is 10 years old we wanted to tweak the food and nourishment he gets. His energy levels have gone down a little and it looked as though he would benefit from senior food, which Almo doesn't do. So we researched, tried Applaws but he lost a lot of condition on it, and so we came round to Barking Heads. This food has turned out to be marvellous, he has a shinier coat than ever and his energy levels are high again, which is great. It is nice a pure and works well for him. The kibble size is smaller and flatter than what he is used to but it doesn't concern him as we always soften his food with a touch of hot water to make a gravy. Happy with this and highly likely to stick with it now :) Smeegle says 'bark and wags of the tail' as well

Our 9 year old Westie dog really loves his Golden Years and is always clearing his bowl. He had his annual check-up today and we found that he had even lost a small amount of weight in the 2 months since starting on this product. The nutrition without the wheat content and with less fat also is obviously doing him good.
