The Alert Chicken & Brown Rice was developed specifically for assistance working dogs. It contains increased levels of antioxidants due to added green tea extract and blueberry extract. With added salmon oil, this diet is ideal for dogs performing tasks that require them to be calm, alert and attentive.
Suitable for sensitive dogs. It is formulated without ingredients such as wheat, soya, dairy, artificial colourings and artificial preservatives which are known to cause symptoms of food intolerance including itchy skin, digestive upset, excessive moulting, full anal glands and waxy ears.

I have been buying this for at least 2yrs for my Standard Poodle and she always enjoyed it. However the most recent bag has a very different smell, like bad fish! Daisy does not like it and I am not surprised, we will need to find another brand.

My Cockerpoo has been eatng this for all of his 8 years and has no complaints. My younger and smaller Cockerpoo enjoys it more if soaked/softened withh warm water.

I always buy Burns Alert Chicken and the dog loves and thrives on it....my mistake to order the Senior version in haste. Evidently not nearly as tasty as the original as the dog won't eat it. Would help us Senior owners if the variety was clearer in the title of the order rather than having to scrutinise the picture of the bag to see this is actually Burns Alert SENIOR Chicken Dry Dog Food

It was time for my Labrador Cassie to change her food and we were recommended this food for her as it would take her from adult into senior without a change.I know that Labs have a reputation about eating everything but she really does enjoy her new diet.

Best food ever for my dog.
I've used Burns for the last 9 years as my Springer cannot cope with the bulk of any other food. She loves Burns food, it does her good and her coat is excellent. Over the last 50 years I have had pet dogs, cats and a variety of furry and finned pets - so have some experience. I would recommend Burns Alert.
