The Alert Chicken & Brown Rice was developed specifically for assistance working dogs. It contains increased levels of antioxidants due to added green tea extract and blueberry extract. With added salmon oil, this diet is ideal for dogs performing tasks that require them to be calm, alert and attentive.
Suitable for sensitive dogs. It is formulated without ingredients such as wheat, soya, dairy, artificial colourings and artificial preservatives which are known to cause symptoms of food intolerance including itchy skin, digestive upset, excessive moulting, full anal glands and waxy ears.

Excellent brand! Excellent food!
Burns is an excellent company that has always been very helpful. Their food is excellent for Weight Control and highly nutritious and they have never had any involvement in cruel animal testing unlike many other mainstream brands. I cannot recommend them enough.

Great dog food as low fat content.
i have been using this for several years now as my dog needed a low fat diet and i am very happy with it. Her poohs were less as there was no junk food in it to bulk the food up. Fully recomended.

Burns alert chicken and rice
This product was bought and delivered with speed and carried straight to my front door. I have used this for my GSD who are renowned for sensitivity on their stomachs and have found it works well.

Ideal for Older Dog
Bought this for my 14 year old dog who was having midnight bowel accidents with her regular tinned food.Since eating Burns Alert she has been fine and seems her digestion has settled well.No more problems and is more alert in general. I don't think it is as appealing for her though as she takes longer to eat it, where as before she wolfed it down.Seems to have lost weight too, but that could be because there is no junk in this food.

Great food for my show dogs
This food is great, my show dogs have to remain calm and focused in the ring and their coats have to be in good condition, their coats or so shiny.

Great for smaller dogs
My two dogs alternate the two flavours and always clear the bowl; healthy results from the other end tells me they’re getting everything they need and they’re both happy and active. Big thumbs up to a fantastic and convenient product.
