The Alert Chicken & Brown Rice was developed specifically for assistance working dogs. It contains increased levels of antioxidants due to added green tea extract and blueberry extract. With added salmon oil, this diet is ideal for dogs performing tasks that require them to be calm, alert and attentive.
Suitable for sensitive dogs. It is formulated without ingredients such as wheat, soya, dairy, artificial colourings and artificial preservatives which are known to cause symptoms of food intolerance including itchy skin, digestive upset, excessive moulting, full anal glands and waxy ears.

Excellent.
I've been feeding my dogs this since one of my dogs had an overgrowth of bacteria in his stomach when fed another leading dog food. My rescue dog has recovered well and loves this food.

Best ever
Our rescued labradors were already being fed on this when we had them. It's excellent. We did try another but they put on weight so straight back to Burns. One reason we use it is one of the dogs is epileptic and it was recommended for him apparently.

Burns chicken and rice
I first used burns when I had my German shepard called jake and everyone always said how well his coat looked. I now have a Sheba inu he has allergys to wheat so it is the best food we have tried him on he is in great condition and looks really well for a dog whom is twelve

Great dog food
My reactive rescue dog has been on Burns Alert for nearly 2 years, whilst not a magic cure, it does seem to have improved his concentration. He loves both the chicken and lamb flavours, the natural, good quality ingredients are very important to me and because of this quality you need to feed smaller amounts of Burns than some other foods.
