Ideal for dogs with digestive upset or skin sensitivity, the Sensitive Pork & Potato is made using potato, wholegrains and a novel protein source, pork. It is a great diet for dogs with intolerances to common ingredients such as chicken, beef and lamb. The pork fat makes this food naturally tasty and provides omega- 6 for healthy skin and coat. Can also be fed as an everyday maintenance diet.

my dog loves it but doesn't improve his sensitive skin

Posted by Ying on 25th Aug 2015

probably doesn't help poor skin condition of my dog but he loves the food and his coat does look better. firstly I thought the kibbles are too big for my chubby chihuahua but it's quite crunchy and my dog doesn't have any problem eating it (and finish real quick too!)

Best dog food for sensitive tummy

    Posted by kw10006 on 9th Sep 2014

I have a 16 month cocker spaniel and have tried all the well known brands for a sensitive tummy and this is by far the best. Not bad in price and sorted out the upset tummy in a matter of days. The poos are hard and we probably only have 2-3 a day.

My Daughter got a little rescue dog who constantly had loose stools. Since being on the burns sensitive range this has stopped. I also feed my 3 dogs burns dog food and have to say that since being on it are much healthier. One of my dogs was constantly scratching and biting at her skin. Since being on the burns this has now stopped.

We were on holiday in South Wales chatting to a man in a pub when we mentioned that our GSD had a delicate stomach; strangely enough, he worked at Burns in the village and suggested we call in and chat to one of the animal nutritionists. We did, she was terrific, didn't try to sell us anything but gave us free samples - one GSD with a much better digestion and 2 converts to Burns, 3 if you count the dog. Even better is the price, The cheapest I have come across and friendly service
