This simple recipe with natural ingredients makes it ideal for sensitive dogs. The wholegrain brown rice is important for healthy digestion. Duck is a novel protein source; this means that if your dog has never eaten it before they will be less likely to have a reaction. It is a particularly good option for dogs with food allergies or intolerances. It is low in fat and highly digestible.

My 10 year old Shih tzu has always been a picky eater. Earlier this year she had gastro bleeds and was on home cooked fish and rice. The vet prescribed food wasnt tolerated so I have tried burns duck and rice and she now eats eagerly. Can't believe the change.

Burns Sensitive+ Duck & Brown Rice

Since my retriever had parvovirus 5 years ago, she has had a very sensitive stomach previously, she could eat almost anything. At first, we were buying vet-prescription food as it was the only food that did not give her the runs and make her unwell. After trying various other foods, someone suggested trying Burns Sensitive+ Duck & Brown Rice... yes, more expensive than most, but much cheaper than the food were were having to buy, and she has been doing well on this food for well over 4 years now.

I have two Bichons, one in particular as a funny tummy with some dog foods. Burns is perfect for them both. Its is all good quality food with no additives and low in fat. Even my Vet recognises it as a good food for my two bundles of fluff

    Great ingredients!

I have used the Burns range of dry kibble since I got my 9 years old greyhound 5 years ago. The well-chosen ingredients over the years have transformed him from an extremely underweight bag of bones to a beautiful, healthy, shiny-coated, happy dog. Ideal for a sensitive stomach and great for knowing that everything they need is within the bag! It is reassuring to know there is nothing controversial in it and the hypoallergenic factor is important. I will be continuing to recommend the Burns products!

    Good stuff!

We have used Burns for our Cavaliers for around fourteen years and this is the variety that suits them all, even the girl with the sensitive stomach. Although the price as risen quite a lot over the years, it's still excellent value for money and a 15kg bag feeds four of my dogs for almost two months. They have beautiful coats and everyone comments on how good they look. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this food.
