Effipro is an affordable spot-on solution containing fipronil for the treatment of flea and tick infestations in dogs and cats. It is applied using its unique, award-winning* 'Drop-Lock' pipette, designed to give you precise finger tip control - and that means no leaks or mess! The clear chamber means you can check easily whether you've applied all of the solution - and, once applied - it kills fleas fast, providing up to eight weeks protection for dogs and up to five weeks for cats.

Effipro Cat administration: by topical application to the skin, preferably the back of the neck and shoulders, 1 pipette of 0.5ml per cat. Follow the enclosed instructions for correct application. Can be applied on a monthly basis. Fleas from pets often infest the animal's basket, bedding and regular resting areas such as carpets and soft furnishings which should be treated, in case of massive infestation and at the beginning of the control measures, with a suitable insecticide and vacuumed regularly. For optimum control of flea problems in a multi-pet household, all dogs and cats in the household should be treated with a suitable insecticide. The product should not be used on kittens less than 2 months old and/or weighing less than 1kg. The product should not be used on sick animals, or on rabbits. Do not use in pregnant or lactating animals.

    My cat is allergic!

Posted by Gemchuck on 7th Apr 2015

It does seems to work as a flea treatment, unfortunately after trying several different fipronil based flea treatments I have come to the conclusion that my cat is allergic to fipronil. Each time she has developed a sore in the spot where the product is applied, which has taken weeks to heal. I will be switching to a non-fipronil based flea treatment in future.

    Not Very Effective

Posted by CatFish on 17th Mar 2015

This sounded good as it included killing ticks, which one of my cats gets in the summer (he's a roamer). Unfortunately, it didn't seem to work as after a week my cats still showed signs of fleas and were actually scratching more than before treatment. I've now ordered the product I used before which worked.

As good as if not better than Frontline but cheaper and does not leave a sticky residue for days like it does.

Das Produkt riecht auch nicht so stark wie man Andere. Bei vielen anderen Proukten, u.a. auch die vom Tierarzt, haben bei meiner Katze kaum
