Feliway® Friends is a synthetic copy of the cat appeasing pheromone (CAP) which is naturally produced by the mother after giving birth. This pheromone helps to create a bond between her and her kittens and creates a harmonious environment where her kittens feel safe. Signs of Conflict and Aggression Between Your Cats can Include:- Fighting
- Staring / stalking at each other
- Hissing, growling, spitting
- Blocking each other
- Fleeing from housemate cats
- Avoidance in response to housemate cat
- One cat remaining hidden
- Ensure that you have enough food bowls for all the cats in your household. Place the bowls at different heights to avoid all the cats eating in the same place (you can utilise tops of shelves or chairs for example)
- Make sure you have a litter tray for each cat in the household plus 1 extra in different places around your home. It is important to check your cat's preferences as older cats may not be able to access the same litter trays as easily as younger more agile cats
- Provide escape routes that are available all the time for your cats, as well as hiding places for them to bolt to, should they need them. Remember, when a cat is stressed, scared or wants some privacy, they like areas they can go to that are warm, quiet, safe and most importantly where they can be alone
- To avoid any unwanted cat visitors entering your home, you can fit a microchip cat flap that will only allow your cats in and out of the household

Feliway Friends Diffuser Plug in and refil
Advertised in our local Vet surgery. Purchased about a week prior to Guy Fawkes night. Purchased primarily as we have a multi cat household. Three cats, all different ages. The youngest cat is quite lively and stresses out the eldest 14 year old male, who who retract and start howling. Eldest cat seems to be calmer. Diffuser is plugged in the room where he spends most time. When initially plugged in, the diffuser becomes quite hot, but manufacturer assured me this would be transient. In fact, unit seems much cooler. Prompt delivery by DPD, trackable and text times of delivery. Impressive. 5 out of 5. Good product.

It works
My big tabby was attacking the smaller tabby when she came upstairs. Feliway Friends seems to have stopped this.

Have used this for a few months having introduced a new younger male to the house. It works very well and the older cat has accepted him! Good product.

2 years of fighting cats has now stopped!
I brought this item as a last resort measure after 2 years of two of my cats being aggressive towards each other and nothing working I was facing the decission of rehoming (which?!) one! I plugged the plug-in in around 5 days ago, not seeing any benefits instantly I thought it was a scam product... This evening however, for the first time in 2 years, I have my two cats sitting 2 feet away from each other, they were watching each other for 10 minutes and then fell asleep.. I cried! This product I use along side the normal feliway and they are both working brilliantly, my cats are calmer, have stopped (almost completly) clawing my sofa and are just calmer in general.. I am so happy i didnt have to male the horrible decission of re-homing

Worth a try
I don't think that this lives up to the claims on the packaging, but my three cats - one is a recent rescue - seem calmer for it being there.
