Feliway can help your cat adjust better to modern living by creating a supportive environment to help deal with unwanted feline behaviour. Feliway is a synthetic copy of the `feline facial pheromone' or `happy marker' that cats leave behind when they rub their face on people, furniture, doorways and other objects in the home. It is a sign they feel comfortable and safe in their home environment. When used in the cat's home environment, Feliway provides the same comforting effect as natural pheromones do when deposited by cats themselves. Feliway is a non-sedative, non-systemic and so can be used safely alongside other types of medications.

Cats are at their most loving and content when they feel in control of their environment. Anything that interrupts this can unsettle them, such as moving, redecorating or bringing home a new baby or pet. Over time this can increase your cat's stress level, which can be expressed in various ways:.

  • Scratching or urine spraying in the home
  • Less interaction with you / hiding away
  • Anxiety when travelling
  • Loss of appetite
  • Over-grooming

Over time, if untreated, these behavioural changes may cause health related issues. Using Feliway can help give your cat a feeling of calm and reassurance. It is clinically proven to help reduce inappropriate behaviours caused by stress. The diffuser releases a comforting pheromone in the local environment and should be plugged into the room where the cat spends most of it's time, perfect for preventing unwanted behaviour at home.

In use for 2 weeks now. There has been a change in her behaviour. Not so scared any more. Still hasn't shown more friendly behaviour, but still early days yet.

Skeptical First time user and buyer.....but have to say i do feel a calmer pussy cat goes to his bed at night & because of that i am feeling more relaxed. I have it plugged into the room he sleeps in as he was tending to be looking for attention during the night, and my sleep was getting disturbed. when the current one runs out im sure i will be renewing.

A Good Idea, But Jurys Still Out

I've had this plugged in for a couple of weeks now...it's no miracle worker, but I think my little guy is a little calmer with this little thing in the living room. Ordering through Pet Supermarket was really simple, and this arrived really swiftly.

My cat fell ill, he was peeing everywhere. Plugged this in. He is a different cat. Relaxed and purring. Sleeps on the chair and feels much better. Thank you

    Feliway starter kit

Posted by Keith Morgan on 1st Feb 2017

Stressed cat, now 2 weeks into using Feliway and my cat has stopped constantly licking her belly. She had licked her stomach fur completely off and was bald. See what happens in the future, hoping her fur will regrow.

    A calmer cat than expected

Posted by Pat on 1st Feb 2017

We've just moved house and I plugged in a diffuser just before our elderly cat came in. He has adapted well with minimum scratching and after 3 days seems quite calm. I can't say how much is down to Feliway but I suspect he would have been a lot less settled without it!
