Worth every penny
Probably bought furminator for short haired dog, but never really did the job. So invested in the long hair version. Brilliant, keeps my pooch who appears so much more content looking smart and no loose hair floating around.

Great for shelties!
Bought this a few weeks ago. Our Callie is half a dog lighter. Gets right into the coat and the matting problems around her ears and back legs are much easier to control.

Much better than a brush
We have a couple of collies who have thick under coats and at this time of year they usually take a lot of brushing to loose it. Of which they have never been keen. But they absolutely love the FURminator and now come and sit ready for a ‘defur’. It strips the undercoat and leaves the top coat in place - perfect for summer. All brushes are now ‘recycled’

Brilliant tool
I purchased this for use on my long hair cat. Soooo much hair came out on the first use, I was worried it might be too large for a cat as this one is marketed for a dog, but the cat one is very tiny.

So much hair!
I have two dogs, first is a Westie so he has 4 proper cuts a year and doesn’t really shed, but youngest is a mixed rescue with random hair, doesn’t need cutting but sheds all over the house. I’ve heard of furminator but didn’t really “get” it. But -oh my word!!! So glad I tried it. Took about a shopping bag full of fur off the young dog, he seemed to enjoy it - like a stroke, certainly not painful and much lighter after. Then tried on Westie and took out a load of the undercoat on him too!!! I don’t understand how it works but it does!

Good for removing thick under coat
My elderly German Shepherd has a thick coat that sheds hair in clumps. The Furminator is good for removing that but must be used with care. It is more expensive than other types of brush and combs but is well made and you get what you pay for

Brilliant!
I use this for my three akita cross huskies and it’s perfect. Gets so much hair out which really helps minimise shedding!

Great buy. Groom my golden retriever over the park can’t believe the amount of hair that the comb removes Worth every penny.
