Hill's Prescription Diet y/d Thyroid Care Adult/Senior Dry Cat Food - Original

Unere Katze bekommt es jetzt seit ca in halbes jahr am anfang wollte sie es nicht essen aber seit ca. 5 monate isst sie es hervorragend seit dem hat sie nommo ihr alltes gewicht die blutwerte sind top und sie ist wieder eine katze die gerne spielt uns schmusst vor diesem futter war sie leider eine katze die nicht wusste was los war bzw. hat sich immer nur versteckt bis der artzt herausgefunden hatte was sie sie hatte. Gott sei dank ich bin froh das meine Katze nochmal die alte ist :-)

Poppy age 11 has stopped raiding the bin! has a lovely glossy coat, and is much more content now since starting this thyroid food, along with the introduction of a warm mat on her bed she is a much happier cat, and has put on some weight too. highly recommended for a cat showing age related thyroid issues.

My 14 y/o cat has been diagnosed with hyperthyroid and put on Felimazole. He was miserable and it was really hard to give him the medication. This is when I discovered this diet. He has been off the medication now for months and only eating this food. He has gained weight, his coat is shiny and he is in good shape overall. It would be good if there was a choice of flavours as he is getting quite bored with eating the same thing all the time. Otherwise really good solution for hyperthyroid. The food is expensive though and it would be fairer if it were more affordable.

Ce produit m'évite d'ajouter un autre médicament à la longue liste de ceux déjà pris par ma chatte de 15 ans et demi. Le dosage de sa T4 a été normal dès 3 semaines de nourriture exclusive avec le Y/D, cela fait maintenant 2 ans. Il faut en revanche être très stricte, ne donner vraiment rien d'autre et faire la chasse à tout ce qui traîne et pourrait être manger (restes de plats, etc...)

Mon chat ne supportant pas le traitement médicamenteux pour son hyperthyroïdie, le vétérinaire m'a orientée vers cette nourriture spécifique. Mon chat l'apprécie sous toutes les formes, et son état de santé s'est visiblement amélioré ainsi que son poids. Je suis très satisfaite de son prix sur ce site, et de la facilité de commande et de livraison. Cependant il ne faut pas attendre le dernier moment pour commander, il peut arriver d'attendre une bonne semaine avant que le colis n'arrive au point relais.

Ruby my 17 year old cat was losing weight fast, she was skin and bone and eating all the time. when she was not eating she was yelling all the time to be fed. I did not want to go down the distressing route of tablets every day for her Thyroid trouble, so i did some research and we found Hills y/d. she has been having the wet and dried food for about 3 months now and she is a different cat, much happier and more content. She still yells at me when she wants feeding, but it is not all day long. I am really happy with this product. It is more exensive than the food we were feeding Ruby, but probably works out less than it would if we had to use medication.

My cat Amy can no longer have thyroid medication as it has affected her liver. Our vet recommended this food as an alternative to the medication. It has worked well and Amy has been having this food for 6 months now and doing well. She is 18 years old which is pretty old for a siamese and likes both the dried. and the canned versions. Without this food I am pretty certain that Amy would no longer be with us. It is expensive but well worth the money .

Since my cat Harry has been on this product, his blood tests are that of a normal cat, his coat is shiny and he seems to thrive on this food. Harry is 16 years old and been on this food for nearly two years. Worthy product and saves having to give tablets.
