    Does the job!

I ordered this because of the speed in which our puppy was consuming her food. The item is great! The central part is just slightly too tall on the upright bits at the moment for her to retrieve her food from, hence we put the food around the edge. As our puppy grows we will gradually utilise all of the bowl. You can put it in the dishwasher & it's non slip too

To slow down one dog and interest the other

    Posted by Noggin49 on 20th Feb 2018

I have 2 cocker spaniels, one wolfs her food down in a heartbeat, the other picks and fusses over her food. One is on the tubby side the other a little under weight, no prizes for guessing which is which! So I saw something on the BBC breakfast news, suggesting that dogs are natural forages and that food should be more of a challenge than just eating from a regular bowl. I bought these bowls to make their mealtimes a bit more exciting, what a transformation they have made. Both dogs were interested and they took their time to eat all of their food. It took them about 10 minutes to start with but they have got a little quicker with practise, but still considerably slower than with usual bowls. I am delighted with the difference in both dogs, the fussy eater is generally eating all of her food, at least she gets the chance to eat what she wants without the tubby one diving in. Small criticism is they seem a bit bigger than I expected.

    Works really well

We have tried a similar maze bowl but that did not seem to slow him down at all. This one however does work really well.
