Perfect
We have the large Northmate which we use for kibbles. We found that if we put wet food in the Northmate, our adult Labrador would consume the wet food, making the food fly all over the place/surrounding floor, as well as mostly get consumed...could be messy! We thought we'd give the K9 a go for the wet food, as it is deep enough, with a surround and it works...no mess! Plus the interactive game is fantastic, another added bonus, which we put dry treats in...didn't take too long before our 11yr old Lab discovered what she had to do to find the treats. The K9 washes well, as does the Northmate. From our personal experience, we thoroughly recommend both.

Makes our pup work for her food
We bought this for our Dalmatian puppy- she is very active and thought this would help slow down her eating as well as encourage her to think. At the moment we only use the hide part as she is not able to get food our of the maze part, but that will come as she gets a little bigger. Its a good value slow feeder and we would recommend. Compared to many, its also much more practical, no loose parts and able to wash easily

Perfect for Puppies brains!
Bought this as a secondary gobble feeder bowl for my 14 week old Labrador puppy- as she is such a quick eater. We swop over the bowls to keep her brain busy, but she loves this one as she loves sliding the yellow parts to see what tasty treats are hidden underneath!

Great for greedy dogs!
I bought this for my very greedy cavalier. He normally wolfs his food down in 30 seconds but using this the same amount of food now takes him about 10 minutes to eat-does what I wanted it to !

Good for dried treats or kibble
Bought for 9 year old JRT, slowed her right down from 30 seconds max to about 5 mins eating her breakfast of wet & dry food. Altho that is a good thing, I may never put wet food in again as the jelly/gravy gets into all the corners & takes a disproportionate amount of time to clean. However a dental treat stuck in just the right place is fine. This is a well made item with no loose pieces to get lost, chewed or trodden on. Stays in place well on tiled floor.
