Mayfield Shavings Compressed

I've been buying this product on and off now for the last few years for my two guinea pigs and have finally stopped. The quality of the shavings massively vary - sometimes soft, sometimes hard - but most importantly it has become VERY dusty. We are looking at the pellet/paper based alternatives which are not only dust-free, but are less toxic. Our vet advised us that the natural oils from the saw mill wood is particularly bad. It's a shame, as this is such an affordable option.

This is a great quality product and great value. This is by far the best product I have found and lasts for ages. It is nice and soft with no chunks and is a good size making it easy to handle without spillages.

Excellent product, easy to remove from packet and very smooth even texture.
