The purple Interactive Cat Feeder is a revolutionary way to slow a cat's eating to savour his food. Many cats lack mental stimulation which can lead to boredom and unwanted behaviours such as chewing, so the purple feeder acts as a toy to keep cats mentally stimulated during feeding time, helping to reduce these behaviours.

Interactive Cat Feeder works well with wet, dry and raw food. The purple slows down eating time which can reduce the risk of bloating. By prolonging eating, the risk of vomiting, gagging, gas and belching is also significantly reduced, resulting in a happier and healthier cat.

Simply scatter the desired amount of food across the purple. Your cat will then enjoy the challenge of pushing the food out between its many blades of grass.

  • Great fun, innovative feeder for cats
  • Helps provide, stimulation and fun indoors
  • Perfect to use for over-weight cats, or those that suffer from digestive problems
  • Ideal for those on a restricted calorie diet

    Slows down her eating

Posted by LemonSqueezy on 3rd Aug 2020

My cat is a bit dippy in some ways, and I was worried she wouldn't work this out. However, she worked it out fairly quickly, though I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and she still looks at me reproachfully when I put her food down, before getting stuck in. I only use it for her dry food and it slows her down and she also eats less - I guess she can't be bothered to fish them out if she's not hungry.

To my surprise my cat enjoys this

Posted by Lotx on 11th Nov 2018

It moves around the floor very easily so that's not so great but my cat purrs trying to get his treats out from it. It's hard and spikey and I was going to send it back but for the the above.

    didn't work out for Rowley

Posted by Notaconnoisseurbut on 5th Nov 2018

It's pretty and well made, but my cat's attempts to pull food out from the feeder just resulted in it skidding all over the kitchen lino. It would have worked for him if it had been heavier (I would definitely try a ceramic version), or else had a non-slip bottom.

Great for bored and food-obsessed cats

I volunteer at an RSPCA cattery, and we use these feeders to entertain the cats, to give them something to do other than wolf their food down.

Great for cats who need to lose weight!

    Posted by Louise82 on 15th Jun 2018

I bought this a month ago for my cat that needs to lose weight and gobbles down her food. After 5 minutes of staring at it and wondering where her normal bowl was, she got the gist that if she wanted to eat she better work it out. She now eats from it confidently and without a fuss. It has slowed down her eating habits and provided some brain stimulation. I started with a mixture of wet and dry food. Now I just chop the wet food up in to chunks and it works well. It's easier to clean than it looks or you can just pop it in the dishwasher. Just be aware that it's a lot larger than your average cat bowl. Great product - would highly recommend.

Helps us humans cope with cats diet

Posted by CharlieCat on 5th Jun 2018

After 4 months on expsenvie diet food Our ravenous taby’s weight had not gone down so the vet suggested a slow feeder. Yes it does slow down her eating of dried food. I think it probably uses a few calories as the cat has to hook the biscuits /kibble outvwith her paw. This has the benefit for us that when she has eaten the easy picking round the edge then goes back for the bits In the middle, instead of just begging for more from us.. It gives us a bit of peace. We have used this for 6 weeks and she now knows that she won’t get any more from us but has to go back to check the slow feeder. It really has helped with the begging We still feed Charlie a little bit of wet/meat food in a small usual bowl. I wouldn’t use wet meat in the feeder, it would make a mess and doubt the cat would get it out, but it works perfectly with biscuits / kibble. I loved the fact that it came in a cardboard box I can colposcopy, no plastic. Mind you if you step in it, it does have the feel of an upturned Lego brick,

    Cats not happy....!

    Posted by Maisie11 on 2nd May 2018

Cats not happy with this item.... they are so used to getting biscuits the easy way. However, it keeps them amused for ages and the feeder stack nicely on top of each other when not in use.

    Great quality, innovative product!

Started to use the slow feeder 4 weeks ago. Our cat was a pig when he was eating. Food was gone within 1 minute. This product slowed him down, challenging him to pick his dry food piece by piece from the feeder. At the beginning he looked disappointed because of the effort he had to make to get to his food, but he got used to it. Now it takes around 15 minutes to eat it all, while he is playing, concentrating. Exactly what he need!
