Buy this one
This is an excellent water fountain. Easy to set up, very quiet when in operation and easy to dismantle to clean. Our fussy cat took to it straight away. We bought this one after purchasing a different ceramic fountain from a competitor which turned out to be useless and had to be retired after a month. This one is 100x better and we wish we had bought this one first.

Perfect
Very nicely made, easy to clean. Cats love to play with it, which does mean it needs cleaning very regularly. Importantly they do also drink from it...the Maine Coon finds it easier to drink at the top due to his size, the little one tries out all options and the Forest Cat goes for the trickle. It is a bit noisy, but it doesn't bother us or the cats - just sounds like a small fountain.

Great and easy to look after
I've had this about a month now, I really like it because it's so easy to clean. I previously had a ceramic fountain that couldn't be dismantled, eventually I had to throw it away because I couldn't get the limescale off (I was worried by using a limescale remover I'd end up poisoning the cats). Since this one can go in the dishwasher and the filters and sponges can be replaced - and even the pump can be replaced if necessary! - I'm much happier, and I'm confident that it's going to last a really long time. Worth the investment.

Ceramic best for cats.
As a veterinary nurse, I am more aware than most about encouraging cats, especially male cats, to drink. It has been proven that cats prefer ceramic over plastic and that most cats enjoy trickling water. So this covers both. The motor is extremely quiet, so all that can be heard is the very pleasant running water sound. It is easy to clean, but be aware that additional filters need to be purchased as part of the fountain's maintenance program. These can be bought direct from the manufacturer's website.
