Pettex Fullers Earth Clumping Cat Litter, perfect for the discerning cat owner. Pettex Fullers Earth Clumping Cat Litter is made from very absorbent clay mineral called Bentonite which helps to bind the strong odours found in cat urine. The benefit of Fullers Earth clay is that it clumps together when it is moist, allowing only the soiled litter to be removed and replaced. The reason that most people prefer clumping litter is due to the fact that traditional absorbent litter must be replaced frequently, while scoopable cat litter allows the solids and clumps of urine to be scooped out and discarded and a small amount of new litter to be added each time. A cat litter tray using clumping litter will last longer without the litter being completely replaced. Today, approximately 69% of the cat litter market is clumping cat litters.

Pettex Fullers Earth Clumping Cat Litter benefits from a unique sieving system that boosts the already excellent clumping powers. All fines and dust are removed prior to packing to ensure consistent, top quality granules. Free from any additives with the ability to minimise bacterial activity and fully bio-degradable. The Pettex original formula helps create a more economical, dust-free cat litter, while the natural minerals have sufficient odour control to clamp down on those unpleasant smells. As if that wasn't enough, the unique super clumping properties allow the damp patches in the litter to form distinguishing clumps that can be easily removed and dispensed of with no trouble at all.

Been using this for over 25 years. Still the best, by far.

    Used it for 50 years.

    Posted by J.Bishop. on 21st Nov 2022

Have used Pettex clumping litter for some 50 years with various cats. I still prefer this although I do not think the clumping is as good as it used to be. However I still prefer it.

Clumping Cat Litter, Love it or Hate it

Posted by Monique Giannikos on 28th Oct 2022

I think it works well for me, I tend to mix in 30% wood pellets too to stop the cat from dragging too much clay out on his feet. I like that it is unscented as it allows me to tell when his box gets a bit smelly. It can be quite heavy, especially if you have to carry it far, but I like that it is natural clay.

    I buy this regularly

Posted by Rosemary on 9th Aug 2022

It is much cheaper in comparison with others. I have 2 elderly cats so get large amounts clumping at times & they are easy to remove. It is very heavy but that only helps with the clumping & you don't need to use too much at a time.

    No good

This litter does not clump at all,it just gets wet and becomes a slurry of smelly urine, would not recommend nor buy again, used it once then went back to my previous brand, not buy this if you want clumping litter.

    Very good

Posted by Kathy R on 11th Jul 2022

Have used this product for many years. Clumps well if you use enough, as instructed. Cats prefer to anything else on the market, although very heavy when you live on a second floor flat with no lift!

    Not very good

This litter was very disappointing, when wet it sets like concrete in litter tray & is difficult to remove, I won’t be using again.

    Worst clumping litter

Posted by Jayne on 18th Dec 2021

I have tried many cheap litters since getting my cat in April and this is the worst clumping litter I have tried. It doesn't clump well, the lumps fall apart when trying to get them out as it sticks in a gloopy mess to the bottom of the tray and it is really hard to get off. I put plenty of litter in the tray and it sticks every time. It's also not economical as it uses a lot of litter every time.
