As in humans, plaque bacteria constantly forms in the mouth of all cats and dogs. Once plaque has calcified into tartar it can no longer be brushed off. In many cases it has to be removed by a vet using ultrasound and anesthetic.

Vets and cats have lovely fangs, albeit for different reasons, I suspect the vet has her own version of Plaquoff.

Was recommended by previous vet and did make a difference however nothing was mentioned as regards thyroid will check with next vet on next visit next Tuesday. Would definitely recommend.

Good for dental care on cats
Recently bought this & asked my vets advice before using as my cat has a few problems . She’s said , it’s a good product that does help with plaque & dental problems but to be aware not to give it if there are any thyroid problems . My cat loves it & his teeth do seem to be cleaner than they were . I think it’ll be a while before I see the full results but will buy again as it had good ingredients .
