As in humans, plaque bacteria constantly forms in the mouths of all cats and dogs. Once plaque has calcified into tartar, it can no longer be brushed off. In many cases, it has to be removed by a vet using ultrasound and anaesthetic. If tartar build-up is left untreated, it can result in bad breath, gum disease, tooth decay and premature tooth loss. EXCELLENT PRODUCT
Been using this product for years now. It helps to build up a tartar protective barrier on dogs teeth which makes it easier for a vet to do a descale if required. My dogs are 15 years and 12 years and still have all of their teeth. It helps though if you don't give them rubbish food containing sugar. Worthwhile knowing also that this is not for dogs with hyperthyroidism.

good healthy product
We have 3 Yorkies and had spent money in the past having their teeth cleaned, which is distressing for any dog and the silly costs, so our vet recommended Plaque off, and we have been very pleased with the results on all 3, they don't mind it and it also has helped with no more dog breath! Will continue with it now for the long term as it does go along way.

Second tub work brilliant my dogs teeth are 100% better but still a bit of dog breath lol. would highly recommend. 180g lasts over 6/7 months with two dogs.
