Purina Pro Plan Mobility Adult and Senior Supplement Powder for Dogs

Our dog suffers from mobility issues (hip dyspraxia);. After a week of taking the powder supplement, he is generally in a more playful mood and wants to move around more. The powder has a slightly fishy smell, but is mixed in with his dry food and he has no issues with eating it. All in all, appears to be a much happier dog!

So far this product is working really well for me. My dog is 10 years old and starting to slow down, the issue I have is that whenever I change her onto senior dog food she gets lethargic and generally unhappy. I’m not sure what disagrees with her but she’s also quite fussy so I decided to go the supplement route. Despite being a picky eater she’s happy to eat this powder on wet or dry food or even on its own and she’s had no stomach upset at all which is great! Sometimes oily fish can give her an upset stomach so I’m really happy with this as I can store it in the dog cupboard with her medications and don’t need stinky fish in my fridge! She was much more active on her walk today and seems to be doing more running around than she usually does which is great. She also spent a lot of the walk rolling and then jumping up yesterday so I wonder if the mobility supplements have made that easier for her too. It does have a bit of a smell when it is open but once you close the lid it’s fine!

I found the powdered format very easy to give to my dog. Stirred into her wet food meal was much easier than giving or crushing tablet-form mobility products. It's early days to see if this has helped my dog. It contains the key ingredients, which should help. I will keep using this in the coming months and see how it goes.

My dog has really enjoyed this product unlike some powders she just ate it. I literally just put the scoops on too of her food and she wolfed it down with no hesitation. She is definitely a lot less stiff in her front legs in the mornings now. I really like this product my only concern is it is quite expensive. As a product overall it does exactly what it says on the box

My dog Rascal was a rescue so is appropriately 14! He is a staffie and struggles with mobility. I have been using a tablet form. My dog loved the taste and smell of the Purina product and always are his food. He can be fussy! The measuring spoon is great as ensures you give the correct amount. My dog is quite lazy, however I've noticed he is moving more so hopefully this product is helping him.

I have been looking for a long time for a good collagen product for my dog. And finally I found it in the form of a powder. I recommend it because it is easy to give to the dog. And I have already noticed differences in dog behaviour. He moves more, our walks are longer and even plays with dog toys.

The mobility supplement is very easy to use and mixes well with wet food. The spoon fits into the container and so is unlikely to get lost. The smell is distinctly fishy when you first open the contained but my dog loves a fishy taste and does not seem concerned with this being added to her food. She has consumed the recommended amount each day without a hitch. She is very active normally and we try to be on the go throughout the day to avoid any stiffness so it can be difficult to assess if her movement has improved , but I can say there have definitely been no signs of any stiffness so far - even after our 8 k walk up and down hilly paths the other day when she might normally have been a bit stiff! I'm going to keep on using this supplement and monitor how it goes with her. I like the format of the product and the way it's measured out.
