Purina Pro Plan Natural Defences Adult and Senior Supplement Powder for Cats

I liked the concept behind the product & the benefits offered by it but unfortunately my cat wouldn't eat it . I don't think she liked the taste.

Firstly, the instructions were very clear regarding how much to give as per the cats weight. I have tried it on our cats food every day for a few weeks now and he really does not like it on his food. I have tried it on different type of food, pieces of chicken etc but he really doesn’t like it. He’s a fussy cat but unfortunately it’s not for him!

My cat has been on this supplement for about two weeks now. It smells OK and must taste fine, too, as she is a very picky eater, yet it doesn't bother her in her food. I've not noticed any massive benefits or improvements to her skin or coat yet, but unfortunately I have noticed issues with her digestion. I've already altered the dosage to about half of what's recommended for her weight, but sadly it is still causing very smelly poo and occasional diarrhea too. There's been no other changes to my cat's diet or general health so I just can't pin it on anything other than this supplement. We have followed the instructions very closely, starting with very small quantities in her food and slowly increasing it so it cannot be sudden exposure to large doses or probiotics causing this. I am willing to give it another week maybe to see if things calm down but will be stopping after that.

My cats has been having these vitamins for 3 weeks, I believe is too early to notice any results. He has been having them mixed with his dry food without any problems.

However, so far so good and most days she is eating most of the food that I have added the supplement to. I haven't noticed any change in her yet but I have only been using this since the beginning of the week. I am keeping a record of which days she eats all of the supplement and I will update the testimonial at a later date. Probably be a great product for a cat who eats well.

Perfect timing , as I was looking for some supplements to support my senior cat health and condition .My cat is fussy for the food especial some new thing which I try to give her the best food I can. On the beginning I was sure she will not eat it as after opened the package I fell some strong smell which I was sure will stop her from eating. I add one dose as per recommendation on the package an I was so surprised when she start eat straight away. I see some small different in her appearance so will definitely continue to feed her and start with another cat. I'm happy I could support her health to keep them in good health condition. Definitely recommend to any cat owner.
