Purina Pro Plan Opti Age Medium & Large Adult 7+ Dry Dog Food - Chicken

If only dogs could talk! She couldn’t wait to get into this. Normally my pooch would have a mix of dry and wet or have to have something added to encourage her to eat her to eat her food. Not with ProPlan OptiAge, she couldn’t get it down quick enough. The large size bag option is great when you have a large dog so this is definitely a winner for me. The kibble is a nice size and didn’t look/feel too dry or too moist. It certainly seems to be being enjoyed and a very clean bowl is being left behind. I think this will is a definite swap for us.

Our Gizmo seemed very impressed with his Optiage food. It was gobbled down quick without any hesitation wondering what mummy and daddy are making him try now. He seemed full of beans after his first couple of bowls and would have easily put the young ones to shame running around the house clearly content after his yummy new food. The pellets seems a great texture to keep his teeth in check too. Sometimes his tummy can gurgle a little whilst adjusting to a new feed but this wa snot witnessed this time which is great news. The feed was not too soft and not too tough on his teeth and even though it's still early days his coat seems a better condition too as it can get a little dull from being warm inside the house now that the heating is on. Gizmo's mumy and daddy are happy with the condition of his coat, teeth and of course his tummy is satisfied. We will definitely consider changing the optiage food to his new permanent food. He will be glad to hear it!

So my little French bulldog is nearly 8 and she is so fussy with her food and so many food irritate her allergys. Well this food has been amazing I am so glad I was able to trial this food she eats every single meal that is put down for her and enjoys it her allergies have not been irritated by this food at all she is putting on weight nicely as she is eating her meals and enjoying eating them she seems like a happy puppy again she runs now when she goes on walks and plays more I have one very happy dog on this food and now I'm one happy owner having found a food my dog loves Would like to be able to seal the bag though especially on such a big bag but that is the only thing I could pick at which is nothing

I have never seen my dog so eager to start her food. We have always had a slow eater who will assess and examine the food before taking her first bite, bit with this she dives right in every time. Keeps her coat nice and shiny which is great. Would really recommend trying this!!

I introduced this food gradually over afew days. The food agrees with him which is fantastic for such a smooth swop. His coat looks great, very shiney and healthy and he is full of energy and playing alot of fetch and licks his bowl clean after every meal, so its a win win from us as we have a happy dog.

I started off by introducing Gabby to Purina Pro Plan by mixing it with her usual food. Well I needn't have bothered. She has taken to it without hesitation. By following the suggested portion size she is eating less by volume than her usual food without compromising on nutrition. It's important to weigh the required portion size as it may appear to be less than what you would usually serve. Labradors will eat as much as you give them and have no idea what being full means! I had not previously considered Purina Pro Plan for my dog but I have been impressed by the quality of the food and how Gabby has taken to it.

My dog really enjoyed this food. I noticed she had more energy after being on it for a few weeks.

I gave this product a 3 star because it would be unfair to give any other rating. I have 2 dogs and both of them point blank refused to eat it. My dogs aren't fussy eaters and will usually give any products a try before turning their nose up. A quick sniff and they just walked away. I will persevere with them but so far they have absolutely no interest. When I first open a new bag of dog food I get my furbabies excited so that they think they are treats but even so they had absolutely zero interest which is very unusual for them. Sadly I will nit purchase in the future even though I have heard so many good things about the biscuits. *Update* After trying and trying my furbabies still refuse to eat it. They would rather go hungry than eat it.
