Purina Pro Plan Opti Balance Large Robust Adult Dry Dog Food - Chicken

This feed has proven a real hit, words don't do it justice just how well received this feed has been. It has been 8 years since my girl would ever consider eating plain kibble, it has always had to be baited with wet food pouches or other titt bitts to get her to eat. The benefits to using this kibble as a complete feed are sigificant, as the harder chunks will help remove plaque on her teeth, as I am not having to soften the kibble with something in a gravy. As well as better understand the calorific value of what is going into the beast, although with a Great Dane the challenge has always been keeping her interested in eating. So far, this feed seems to really agree with her digestively but more to follow as we work our way through the pack. The pictures are more significant than reading the pack but from what I have gleaned from the packet it ticks all the boxes in terms of enough Fibre, Protein and essential oils to keep the Dog and coat healthy.

My lab absolutely loves this food I have seen such a difference in him whilst eating this . He loves every bit and eats it all wanting more . He has so much more energy and his coat is so much more glossier. I would certainly be purchasing this do food in the future as his energy levels have become so much better and he seems so much more behaved especially on his walks . Even our springer mollie is enjoying the occasional nibble on the food also .

The ingredients are brilliant and full of vitamins and minerals I would have loved to have given 5 stars but my dog is just too fussy for that. I would say most dogs would love this

When I first opened the package my dog was interested straight away, which is unusual for him, normally he will leave dry food in his bowl for later unless it was mixed with something tempting but since feeding this he's cleared his bowl every meal time along with picking up any biscuits he may have dropped along the way and once again gets excited at meal times. As an older large breed dog 11 years, it's important to us he given good quality food. We will most likely be swapping over to this food going forward as the improvement in his energy levels and coat condition is defiantly noticeable. He's also put on some weight since being on this food, he wasn't underweight before starting the food but we had noticed he was struggling to maintain weight in his older years so for us this food really is a game changer. Another positive is his bowl movements are firmer and he's not as gassy since being on this food either so it's suiting him all round. The price label is a little on the high
