    Purina pro plan sensitive digestion

After using this dry food for my pup for about two weeks I can see some changes in his behaviour. Food itself it’s nice small and seems moist and not dry which he can manage to eat it without any struggle- somethings if dry food is to dry he struggle to bite it and with this food he didn’t have any problems. Food seems to be very enjoyable by my dog. At her giving him this food I notice changes with his poop also. He somethings struggle to poop regurgitate but this is no longer the case with this food. Also I have notice his poop is soft and he is not struggling to pass it

    No complaints

As Maple is a puppy we were concerned about how he would take to new food but we shouldn’t have worried. He was super eager to get into the bag! Initially we gave him a few pieces to try; they were gobbled up so we gradually introduced more into his diet. There have been no issues with him adjusting to it. There’s been no impact on his toileting routine and he’s now waiting (im) patiently for every meal. Really happy that he took to this food so easily and that it’s agreed with him. A yes from us! From a practical point of view I liked the carry/pour handle but once open it doesn’t seal securely enough for my liking.

    Perfect

Having found most kibble very hard and too big for my little cocker puppy. This is perfect for him. The pieces are small enough for him and although hard - he is actually able to crunch it before swallowing. It's gentle on his stomach so no issues and perfectly formed stools. His coat is glossy. He was a grazer with previous kibble which suggests he didn't enjoy but with this one, the dish is emptied within minutes.

    Perfect pupper food

I have a young cocker spaniel puppy who at times refuses dry food and occasionally suffers from very loose stools, since starting him on this food we have had an empty bowl at every meal time. This food has completely changed his stomach problem, no longer do we have messy poop to deal with. At his recent vet check the vet mentioned how glossy and smooth his coat was and I 100% put this down to his new diet! After trying many different brands I’ve found the one we’ll be sticking with! Thank you!

    Great food

My dog loved this food. We have been trialing lots of different puppy foods at the moment as we would like him to have a food that he loves but that is also good for him. This food is just that. The ingredients seem to be good quality and the kibble is of a really good size for a puppy. The kibble is small enough to also be used as treats on a walk to ensure training is going well. It is really useful to have a food that can be used at dinner time but also on a walk as treats that he still loves and you can tell that it is a good quality treat unlike some other brands. My puppy usually gets bored of food after a while and we have to change it up but this hasn't happened at all. He is always excited in the morning for his breakfast with this! The bag of food is a good size, and will keep my dog going for quite a few weeks. The smell of the kibble is also fairly good. Some kibble can smell quite strong and not very pleasant which I think may say more about the ingredients inside.

A big "paws up" from us!

Posted by AnnaMc on 27th Jul 2022

Mishka is a 5 month old Chowski and has had signs of a sensitive stomach in the past, so we were really pleased to be able to give this Optidigest a try. It’s fair to say she likes it, and it hasn’t given her an upset stomach. We’ve used it for almost 3 weeks so far. She is a growing pup so I find the guidelines on the packaging really helpful so I know how much to give her. Overall, it’s a big “paws up” from us!

It's a hit with my puppy

Posted by Andrew on 12th Jul 2022

I received this as part of a trial about 3 weeks ago and before I could even open it my puppy was trying to get into it. We had tried a few other brands but this is by far the best. With some others we found the size was too big or it just didn't have that wow factor. Now food times are like a bowl of treats. The great thing about this is not just that our puppy loves it, but also that it is really good for her and helping to grow. Puppies are an unknown and we don't know what they like, don't like, or in fact what can have an effect on them so why risk it. In my opinion it makes sense to give them the best possible start in life and go for this.

    Happy tummy, happy puppy!

5* My puppy has always had looser than normal poos and I think she might have a chicken intolerance so looked for a food without. We switched to this 4 weeks ago when she was 8 months old and within 2 days she had perfect poos! She is eating all her food for the first time and I even use the kibble as training treats! Wished I'd switched sooner!
