Purina Pro Plan Relax Adult and Senior Supplement Oil for Dogs

Definitely recommend this product! If you have a dog that is anxious or a bit springy and just needs to calm down a bit this is the stuff for you! It helps calm their anxiety and relaxes them. My dog loves this product and it has improved her anxiety big time.

So my dog barks at everything and I mean everything. So using this hopefully will help calm him down. My dog is obsessed with the flavour of this so much so that he tries to steal the bottle out of your hand. I just feed this to him off the spoon, because he can go all day before he decides he's gonna have his breakfast. So I prefer to keep them separate. As to whether this is working I'm still not certain as he still barks alot and he still sits there looking for sounds to bark at. He is very sensitive to noise outside and suffers with anxiety. I was really hoping that this would be the miracle cure that we have been dreaming of but unfortunately there hasn't been much improvement, I will however continue to use this to see if it has the desired effects it claims to have.  

Sheldon is a jack russell/border terrier (with a dash of patterdale) mix, which of course means he is an absolutely crazy eejit, very jittery and almost always on edge when people are near my home. I haven't had good experiences with giving him supplements or medicines in the past, as he is a very fussy eater and is somehow able to sniff out things that are good for him. This supplement, however, he really liked the smell and taste and had no problem licking it from a spoon or letting me pour it onto his food. So, my hopes were raised that this might have an effect on his mood. Unfortunately, despite him keeping up with his supplement, having it every 1/2 days, he's still a jittery, hyperactive idiot. He is no more (or less) relaxed than before, which is a shame. I'm going to continue giving him the supplement, at least until the bottle runs out, but I don't think this is a product I'll be buying for him again.

I mix this with my dogs food in the morning, she is quite excited when she sees me put it in, it’s only been a short time using it but I think she is a little more chilled, I think I will definitely buy this and continue using it once this bottle is done, it’s easy to measure out and smells appealing to my dog.

Our 14 years old staffie have been behaving like a puppy in last year or so. Every time he would demand some treats or fuss he would bark and bark and bark. Going out without him was a big no no as he would make so much noise barking. Not anymore! We can finally leave him at home (alone) as he's calm as a baby, he seems to be sleeping better too. Thanks for this it really helped.

This is supplement is easy to add to my dogs food, the guide on daily amounts is easy to understand and the spoon given makes it easy to measure out the correct amount. So far my dog has had no issues taking the supplement I add it too his food and he doesn’t mind it at all. So far I haven’t seen much difference in his behaviour, he is a large dog and still reacts to noises and voices and he still barks at any little movement he notices but I am going to continue use of the supplement as I still think it takes a bit of time for a product to get into a dogs system to begin to help relax them even if he can relax a small amount would be lovely for him.

I received this relaxing supplement oil to try for our elderly dog who was suffering with anxiety. The supplement oil was hard to administer at first as she wouldn’t take from spoon, we then tried to administer with a couple of drops of milk which I thought would do the trick. What I found best was to actually add the oil to food and she would eat it that way. I noticed after several days use that she seemed a little more at ease and wasn’t fretting if someone knocked on the door as she usually would. She seemed generally more settled than she was before trying this.
