Well worth a try Purina Relax+

I have a pomeranian who barks excessively. I thought there is no way a little dribble of this would work!!! She has become a different dog, she does still bark if someone comes to the front door but any other time she has calmed down. Relax+ was easy to use too, it came with a measuring spoon and it let you know on the side of the bottle how much to dribble over the food depending on your dogs weight. Well worth a try.

    Worked well

I wasn’t expecting this to be somthing that helped my anxiety ridden boy. But after a week he was noticeably calmer, less pacing and less chewing his blanket. He took the oil straight from the spoon each day. I will be purchasing this to continue him being able to enjoy days more. It doesn’t have a smell and is easily measured using the spoon. I would prefer a longer handled spoon as it can spill a little and is sticky. I have two dogs and am going to start using it on the other too. I also found his toileting to be better on this, more formed and less smell.

    No Change

I didn't receive a spoon with this but once I worked out that a spoon=1 teaspoon it was very easy to administer, just added the appropriate dose on top of my dog's food. My dog seemed to like it, at least it didn't put him off his food and he gobbled it down, it doesn't smell of much so no added strong smell. Unfortunately, after two weeks, I have seen no change in my dog's behaviour, he still barks at every little noise while he's in the house which is our biggest issue with his anxiety. So I can't recommend this, although, like with most things, different dogs will react differently. I will continue giving it to him until we finish the bottle.

    Doesn't work for my pup

Posted by Bevala on 15th Sep 2022

I had zero hopes when I received the Relax+ as, upon reading the ingredients, I found that it was just fish oils. The problem for us being that Kobi has been on fish oil since we got him at 8 weeks (now 5 months); for coat, joints and heart care. Clearly it didn't work for his anxiety! I swapped it out for this one, though, as even though they both have the main EPA and DHA, this one is made with different fish. Unfortunately, there has been no difference. I have read up online and Purina did do a study which showed that it helped a high percentage of dogs, and there are many calming remedies that work for some dogs but not for all. So who's to say that this wouldn't work for others! Side note: If anyone is worried whether their dog(s) will eat this ok... I've never met a dog that doesn't lap up fish oil, so you should be fine!

    Natural and calming

My lab/Chessie/collie can be a little crazy at times, even after plenty of exercise. This product helped her relax, even after the first dose. This bottle will last a while, the measuring spoon is great, along with the serving guide per the dogs weigh on the bottle. She had no problem taking this with her food. Great that it’s natural too.

    Amazing for my dog

My dog is quite picky when it comes to any additional supplements, so I was a little worried if he liked it, but it turned out that I was not worried and the dog eats with taste, which makes me happy because I know that I provide him with additional vitamins

    Easy to add to food

Not really been using it long enough to see much benefit yet, but my 14 year old cocker spaniel seems to enjoy the taste. He takes it without any issues. He does seem a little more relaxed and calm though. You only need 1 spoonful (included) a day so a bottle should last around 100 days.
