Purina Proplan Veterinary Diets Canine UR Urinary is a highly palatable complete veterinary diet for the dissolution of struvite stones. PPVD UR is specially formulated to produce a urine that is acidic and which helps to both dissolve and minimise reccurance of struvite stones. It also contains moderate protein levels to minimise the availability of food for the bacteria which are commonly associated with urinary stones.

PPVD UR contains nutrients such as omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants which help support the health of the urinary tract.

Note that PPVD UR is not suitable for dogs that are receiving urinary acidifiers. If in doubt, please consult your veterinary surgeon.

Excellent food

This food is great for my dog who suffers from struvite stones . She has been recommended she has this food from our vet. It comes highly recommended

Food for a weeing dog!

I was prescribed this food by the vet when my dog had a urine infection. Luckily she woofed it down and banged her bowl for more. The infection has cleared up and she still loves this food.

Suite à une intervention chirurgicale sur une chaine de calculs, nous avons donné Proplan UR à notre chien, et produit très efficace car les calculs ne sont pas revenus, vérification radioscopie

For four years my Rottweiler suffered from constant urinary infections, very unpleasant for her, and expensive for me. Many, many trips to the Vets. Tried a couple of options, with diet changes, then tried Purina U/R. Wow, since then, what a change. She is now 7, and not had to have treatment For Urinary Infections for 3 years. So pleased for her. Pet Supermarket, makes it more affordable for me as well, and the delivery service is brilliant
