Complete dietetic feed for adult dogs.

Some dogs may have nutritional intolerances or adverse reactions to certain foods. In these cases, a specifically tailored diet can help to support your dog’s wellbeing. Royal Canin® Hypoallergenic is specially formulated with the needs of your dog in mind and is available in 2kg, 7kg and 14kg bags. Royal Canin® Hypoallergenic contains a hydrolysed soya protein isolate with a low molecular weight, this ultimately limits the risk of allergenicity. The complex of nutrients in Royal Canin® Hypoallergenic are specially formulated to help support the skin’s natural protective barrier role for optimal skin and coat health. Specific Omega-3 long chain fatty acids – known as EPA and DHA – are also included in this formula. These specific fatty acids help to support your dog’s digestive health as well as nourishing its skin. Formulated with highly digestible starches and proteins – as well as a blend of fibres that include prebiotics – Royal Canin® Hypoallergenic helps to support a good balance of intestinal flora in your dog for optimal digestive health. If your dog is overweight or prone to weight gain, consider offering them Royal Canin® Hypoallergenic Moderate Calorie that contains all of the benefits of their counterpart, just with fewer calories. As part of the Royal Canin® Veterinary Health Nutrition range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. To cater to each dog’s individual preferences, Royal Canin® Hypoallergenic is also available as wet food in a loaf format. If you’re considering mixed feeding, be sure to follow our feeding guidelines to ensure your dog gets an accurate amount of both wet and dry food for optimal benefit. German Shepherd loved it

Posted by SueK on 26th Apr 2021

I started my German Shepherd to this on the advice of my Vet due to ear problems he'd had she said it was best in case it was a food allergy. He absolutely adores it and his toileting improved in consistency (great subject I know). Unfortunately it did seem to have resolved the itching he gets so I am about to try him on the Royal Canin Dermacomfort to see if this does the trick.

We had great results using this food for our puppy

    Posted by David68 on 26th Apr 2021

Our vet put our Springrer puppy on this when his was down to 14kg instead of 18kg for a healthy puppy of his age. After 3 months on this food and excluding any other food he was back to where he should be. We have continued to feed this and he loves it so much that I use it as training treats! We would like to move on from this to a more normal diet but we worry about a return of his problems.

    Good stuff. Very pleased.

This food was recommended for my 8 year old Staffy, after several nasty tummy upsets. He's around 19.4 kg and gets through 280-300g per day. There have been no tummy upsets since he started on this food (10 months ago), his coat is in great condition, he looks really healthy and loves the taste. It's not the cheapest and it smells quite strong, but it's well worth the money.

    Great for my dog

I get this food as my vet put my dog onto it. He has skin problems and IBD so this is great no problems when he eats this food.

    Food for dogs with allergies

Will need more time to judge the effectiveness of the food but up to now my dog is enjoying the food and the cysts between her toes seem to be weakening
