Balanced and complete feed for adult cats - Recommended to help reduce hairball formation.

Cats often spend large parts of its day self-grooming and can therefore swallow large quantities of hair. This ingested hair can become compacted in the digestive tract, resulting in the formation of hairballs which are then either regurgitated or eliminated through its faeces.Hairballs can cause discomfort and soreness through stomach aches and regurgitation, as well as digestive health problems - including the loss of nutrition through regurgitated hairballs. Royal Canin® Hairball Care is composed of a specific blend of dietary fibres, including psyllium (rich in mucilage) and insoluble fibres to help naturally stimulate a healthy intestinal transit. As a result, hair swallowed daily can be eliminated in its faeces rather than building up in the stomach and being regurgitated. Royal Canin® Hairball Care contains a precise combination of nutrients with a high protein content and a high fat content to ensure that a healthy level of nutrients is maintained effectively. This product is also formulated with an accurate balance of minerals to help maintain the health of your adult cat's urinary system. Royal Canin® Hairball Care has been proven to eliminate twice as much excess hair in a cat's body after just 14 days of feeding. To cater to each cat's individual preferences, Royal Canin® Hairball Care is also available as wet food in delicious gravy. If you're considering mixed feeding, simply follow our feeding guidelines to ensure your cat gets an accurate amount of both wet and dry food for optimal benefit. At Royal Canin® we're committed to providing nutritional solutions to your pet's needs. All of our products undergo an extensive quality control process in order to guarantee the optimum quality of food as well as catering to your cat's specific dietary requirements and lifestyle. This means that when your cat eats Royal Canin® Hairball Care, it's getting a complete and balanced diet.

Hairball Care: What are the key benefits of this targeted nutritional solution? Hairball care is a precisely balanced nutritional formula which naturally helps reduce hairball formation. The exclusive Hairball care complex is composed of a specific blend of dietary fibres, including psyllium (rich in mucilage), and insoluble fibres to help naturally stimulate intestinal transit. As a consequence, hair swallowed daily can be eliminated in the faeces rather than building up in the stomach and being regurgitated.

Proven Results / X2 / Hair Excretion / In 14 Days / Dietary Fibre Blend / Psyllium: The exclusive use of Hairball care is effective after 14 days, doubling* the amount of hair that is eliminated naturally in the faeces. *Royal Canin internal study, 2013 - Compared to a control feed for adult cats not containing the Hairball Care exclusive complex.

Urinary Health: Formulated with a balance of minerals to help maintain the health of an adult cat’s urinary system.

this product is great for my cat because it has lots of fibre which has helped with her sensitive tummy. i cant say i have noticed any hairball reduction but the cat tray is a much nicer place since shes been eating it.

When I adopted a Maine Coon the previous owner recommended the food, although I've dabbled with others he always prefers this one. Not only does he enjoy eating it but I do think it controls fur ball to a degree (but does not eliminate, for my cat cannot tolerate grooming!). Try it, my short haired moggie loves it too and they've both been healthy for many years with lovely coats on this food.

This is excellent - my cat loves the biscuits and I do not have a problem with "hairballs" being coughed up. Would recommend,

I would not give anything else to my 2 babys ! My indoor Bengals have always had Royal Canin. After being sterilised I used the sterilised 37 food which they love. I tried indoor but they did not like it, I tried Fit but they started to put weight on so back to sterilised for the last year and they also finish the bowl. A large bag lasts at least 2 months, so 10 a month per cat is a bargain! And you know its the best you can get for your cat/s.

My two cats are both indoor cats, one with long hair and one with short hair but dry skin and pads.
For this reason I alternate between the Skin & Hair 33 and Indoor 27 varieties.
The skin and hair makes a huge and visible difference - their coats are more glossy and easier to comb, it also helps with dry flaking skin and dandruff. The shape and texture of the biscuits is easy to maanage too - even for my elderly cat with no teeth! She doesn`t struggle to eat the biscuits at all and their roug
