Royal Canin® Veterinary Health Nutrition :

Since 1968, Royal Canin has been following the belief that nutrition plays a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of cats and dogs.  This is why we have designed Royal Canin® veterinary diets around proven nutritional science in partnership with veterinarians, delivering our best health nutrition for pets with specific health needs.

Support your cat’s oral health with Royal Canin® Dental :

Royal Canin® Dental is specially formulated to help support and manage oral hygiene in cats.

This formula helps to reduce the formation and build-up of dental plaque.

The shape and size of the kibble support grasping of the food, as well as tooth penetration into it. This helps to reduce the accumulation of plaque and tartar.

This formula also helps to control the formation of hairballs by helping to eliminate ingested hair through your cat’s stools.

This diet promotes a urinary environment unfavourable to the development of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.

As part of the Royal Canin® Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be a smooth and gradual process over a 7–10-day period.  Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount.

Both our cats are in their early teens and at the recommendation of the vet we started feeding them this product. Their teeth have improved avoiding expensive treatment.

Keeps my cats' teeth clean and healthy

    Posted by tristan84 on 2nd Feb 2015

Two of my cats have needed dental treatment by my vet to remove plaque from their teeth. Since feeding Royal Canin Feline Dental on my vet's advice they have not needed any treatment and their teeth are clean and free from inflammation.

My 3yr old Burmese had developed bad tartar for her age and was threatening signs of gingivitis which was causing concern due to her age. She also suffered from extremely bad breath. The Vet suggested we try her on Royal Canin Dental which I did and the improvement was unbelievable. She took to eating the biscuit with no problem and is now her preferred food. Plus it's now a pleasure to cuddle her due to her breath which is now 100o/o pleasant.

My cats have eaten this for the past four years since vet recommended it to help with plaque build up. I mix a few of these with other dried food so it doesn't work out so expensive and to add variety to meals. Both my cats love this food and always eat it up first! Lovely and crunchy! An investment in healthcare of teeth too! ??
