Royal Canin® Veterinary Health Nutrition :

Since 1968, Royal Canin has been following the belief that nutrition plays a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of cats and dogs.  This is why we have designed Royal Canin® veterinary diets around proven nutritional science in partnership with veterinarians, delivering our best health nutrition for pets with specific health needs.

Support your cat’s oral health with Royal Canin® Dental :

Royal Canin® Dental is specially formulated to help support and manage oral hygiene in cats.

This formula helps to reduce the formation and build-up of dental plaque.

The shape and size of the kibble support grasping of the food, as well as tooth penetration into it. This helps to reduce the accumulation of plaque and tartar.

This formula also helps to control the formation of hairballs by helping to eliminate ingested hair through your cat’s stools.

This diet promotes a urinary environment unfavourable to the development of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.

As part of the Royal Canin® Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be a smooth and gradual process over a 7–10-day period.  Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount.

    Cleaned my cats' teeth!

Posted by lilias on 26th Apr 2021

I rescued two cqts with basically sound teeth but with tartar and gum disease. After some highly expensive treatment the vet suggested that I give each of them a few lumps of the Dental Cat Food every day. The cats both love this and their teeth and gums are now fine

Good for what is says on the packet

Posted by Carey on 26th Apr 2021

I was recommended this product by my vet as the pieces are large and my four cats have to bite into it, which is good for the health of their gums. I just wish that its meat content was higher as it is not the natural diet of a cat. My cats however, love it!

Good for long term dental health

Posted by Hack wood 8 on 26th Apr 2021

My cat Lily had gingivitis so after she had a scale and polish under anaesthetic the vet recommended brushing her teeth and using Royal Canin dental food. It has a larger kibble to make her chew more and has an ingredient which will work against the build up of plaque. She likes it!
