Royal Canin® Veterinary Health Nutrition :

Since 1968, Royal Canin has been following the belief that nutrition plays a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of cats and dogs.  This is why we have designed Royal Canin® veterinary diets around proven nutritional science in partnership with veterinarians, delivering our best health nutrition for pets with specific health needs.

Support your cat’s oral health with Royal Canin® Dental :

Royal Canin® Dental is specially formulated to help support and manage oral hygiene in cats.

This formula helps to reduce the formation and build-up of dental plaque.

The shape and size of the kibble support grasping of the food, as well as tooth penetration into it. This helps to reduce the accumulation of plaque and tartar.

This formula also helps to control the formation of hairballs by helping to eliminate ingested hair through your cat’s stools.

This diet promotes a urinary environment unfavourable to the development of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals.

As part of the Royal Canin® Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. Transitioning your pet from one diet to another should be a smooth and gradual process over a 7–10-day period.  Please ensure you follow the correct rationing amount.

    Happy with product and Service

Posted by Sue V on 4th Nov 2016

My 10 year old cat has had to have her teeth cleaned under aneasthetic last year, so I have been using these to see if it will help for a while now. I will know soon when she has her yearly check up. She and my smaller cat seem to like them and manage to eat the large knibble.

    Royal Canin Dental

Posted by Liz Lee on 4th Nov 2016

My Vet suggested that I clean my cat's teeth with a toothbrush and toothpaste because although only a young cat she had tartar. I tried, I really tried but with absolutely no success. I was then recommended to use Royal Canin Dental which she loves and this has kept her teeth in really good condition.

Great for cats with dental issues

Posted by Sara on 4th Nov 2016

My 8 year old cat has been using this product for 5 years on vets recommendations. He had bad tartar and gingivitis, and we were advised to stop all wet food and just use this product. While it is difficult to control who eats what (we have two cats), they both like this food and it's good to hear them crunching away. We haven't had to go back to the vet for his gingivitis, which is great, so the product is definitely working!! If I had one plea it would be to produce it in different flavours for variety, but this is probably too expensive and not cost effective for the company.

Posted by Femke on 4th Nov 2016

Posted by Bénédicte on 31st Oct 2016

Royal Canin Vet Diet Feline Dental

    Posted by L. W. on 20th Oct 2016

My cat, Rosie, is 12 years old and I have always fed her with this food. My vet recommended it because, as a kitten, she had quite bad tartar on her teeth and had to have this removed. This is her only food apart from a few Whiskas Dentabite treats when I want her to come in. Her teeth are quite good for her age and I would certainly recommend this product.
