Complete dietetic feed for cats.

For cats with digestive sensitivities, a complete and balanced diet that provides supportive nutrients can help to stimulate healthy digestion and facilitate good intestinal transit. Available in 85 g pouches, Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy is exclusively formulated to support healthy digestion, while also supporting your cat’s varied nutritional needs. The high energy content in Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy helps to reduce the volume of your cat’s meal and decrease their intestinal load, which makes digestion much easier for your cat whilst also meeting their general nutritional needs. Incorporating an ideal balance of fibres – including prebiotics – Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy is highly digestible and contributes to healthy digestion and transit. Prebiotics help to stimulate the growth and balance of beneficial bacteria in your cat’s digestive tract, contributing to a healthy digestive environment. Cats with digestive issues may have a reduced appetite. If your cat’s appetite has decreased, feeding Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy could help because it is highly palatable with an attractive aroma and texture. If your cat is overweight or prone to weight gain, consider offering them Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal Moderate Calorie in Gravy that contains all of the benefits of their counterpart, just with fewer calories. As part of the Royal Canin® Veterinary Health Nutrition range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. To cater to each cat’s individual preferences, Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal is also available as dry kibble. If you’re considering mixed feeding, simply follow the on-pack feeding guidelines to ensure your cat gets an accurate amount of both wet and dry food for optimal benefit. At Royal Canin® we’re committed to providing nutritional solutions to your pet’s needs. All our products undergo an extensive quality control process in order to guarantee the optimum quality of food, as well as catering to your cat’s specific dietary requirements and lifestyle. This means that when your cat eats Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy, it’s getting a complete and balanced diet.

    Poorly cat managing to eat

Posted by Sinbadmushu on 26th Apr 2021

I’ve started buying this a couple of weeks ago for my poorly 8 year old cat. They seem to enjoy the flavour - especially the gravy when they can manage to eat something. It helps mask the flavour of some medications that I have to crush/add to the food and is allowing them to eat what they can. W

Really helped my 14 years old cat

Was recommended this product by my vet for my cat who for the last year has been suffering from upset tummy and weight loss. After numerous blood tests... all normal, she was diagnosed with IBD and IBS. With a combination of steroid injection and the new food, she is finally putting on a bit of weight and her tummy isn’t cured but better.

I keep ordering this product as a recommendation from my Vet. It is filling but bland enough not to upset my cats stomach.

We have two cats with Gastro problems so this food really helps to ensure that they get all the nutrition they need without the clearing up that ordinary cat can necessitate

    Good for Cats with colitis

Posted by Nipper on 26th Apr 2021

Whilst my cat was poorly she would eat it all. Once she started to get better she would only lick the jelly moisture. Having said that she does the same with makes of other intestinal gastro products. However she did like Royal Canin whilst unwell

The vet suggested that I get this food for my cat who is poorly. I think it is having a good effect, but it may be too soon to say. Great delivery service as usual so I will hopefully be back for more.

    Brilliant Cat food

    Posted by Blondie390 on 26th Apr 2021

I took my Cat to my local vets as he was terrible with bowel problems. The vet decided that we had full blood tests. The tests didn’t really show up much other than he was a bit low on protein. My Cat was terrible with diarrhoea it would be all over the floor sometimes he would go up to 5 times or more,he just couldn’t stop.Sometimes their was blood in it too with slime and mucus. So we decided that we couldn’t go on like this.So the vet decided to give him a try on this Wet food and he’s also on Royal Canin Sensitive Control dried food too.In the end the vet and us decided it must be IBD.He’s been on the food now for 15 days and it really does work.Their has been no more diarrhoea and his stools are normal again. He has a Wet Pouch for his tea and 30g of the dried for his breakfast. This food is brilliant and my cat is doing really well on it.He will have to stay on this food for life because of his condition. And we don’t ever give him treats either.
