Complete dietetic feed for cats.

For cats with digestive sensitivities, a complete and balanced diet that provides supportive nutrients can help to stimulate healthy digestion and facilitate good intestinal transit. Available in 85 g pouches, Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy is exclusively formulated to support healthy digestion, while also supporting your cat’s varied nutritional needs. The high energy content in Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy helps to reduce the volume of your cat’s meal and decrease their intestinal load, which makes digestion much easier for your cat whilst also meeting their general nutritional needs. Incorporating an ideal balance of fibres – including prebiotics – Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy is highly digestible and contributes to healthy digestion and transit. Prebiotics help to stimulate the growth and balance of beneficial bacteria in your cat’s digestive tract, contributing to a healthy digestive environment. Cats with digestive issues may have a reduced appetite. If your cat’s appetite has decreased, feeding Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy could help because it is highly palatable with an attractive aroma and texture. If your cat is overweight or prone to weight gain, consider offering them Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal Moderate Calorie in Gravy that contains all of the benefits of their counterpart, just with fewer calories. As part of the Royal Canin® Veterinary Health Nutrition range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. To cater to each cat’s individual preferences, Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal is also available as dry kibble. If you’re considering mixed feeding, simply follow the on-pack feeding guidelines to ensure your cat gets an accurate amount of both wet and dry food for optimal benefit. At Royal Canin® we’re committed to providing nutritional solutions to your pet’s needs. All our products undergo an extensive quality control process in order to guarantee the optimum quality of food, as well as catering to your cat’s specific dietary requirements and lifestyle. This means that when your cat eats Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy, it’s getting a complete and balanced diet.

My 12 year old cat has suffered from colitis for the past 4-5years with endless trips to vets taking different medications and still no joy , I finally changed his brand of food to the gastrointestinal wet food and there isa big improvement not 100% but he has better bowel movements and seem happier in his self , I spent a lot of time online looking for help but if you have a cat the same issues then please consider trying this product .

    Bought for cat with cholangiohepatitis

Posted by Green Vase on 26th Apr 2021

Our cat was discharged from the pet hospital following a diagnosis of cholangiohepatitis. He had stopped eating, but we were told he’d eaten a pouch of this food the day we collected him. Back at home, we tried him on all types of cat foods, treats, tinned mackerel and chicken, but he would not eat. In a panic, we looked to the internet to find the food he had been eating in hospital. It was so expensive on Amazon and only came in huge boxes, so we were over the moon when we realised we could get this delivered with the ocado shopping the next day. The cat did eat a small amount, but not as much as I had hoped. He needed some more treatment, but eventually his appetite returned. I wouldn’t say he loves this food, but it’s worth a try if you have an unwell cat.
