Complete dietetic feed for adult cats.

Some cats have nutritional intolerances or adverse reactions to certain foods. In these cases, a complete and balanced hydrolysed protein, hypoallergenic diet can help to support your cats nutritional needs. Royal Canin® Hypoallergenic is specially formulated with your cat’s nutritional needs in mind and is available in both 2. 5kg and 4. 5kg bags. Royal Canin® Hypoallergenic’s exclusive formula includes a hydrolysed soya protein isolate that contains a low molecular weight, ultimately reducing the risk of allergenicity. In order to help maintain optimal skin health, Royal Canin® Hypoallergenic contains a specially formulated nutrient complex that helps to support the natural protective barrier role of your cat’s skin. Enriched with Omega-3 long chain fatty acids known as EPA and DHA, Royal Canin® Hypoallergenic also helps to support your cat’s digestive health. What’s more, these fatty acids help to maintain the health and condition of your cat’s skin and coat. Royal Canin® Hypoallergenic is formulated with quality highly digestible proteins and starches, as well as a specific blend of fibres – including all-important prebiotics – which help to support a good balance of intestinal flora for a healthy and balanced digestive system. Recommended by the RVC

The RVC recommended that one of my Burmese can only have veterinary diet hypoallergenic food, so we have this and the Purina hypoallergenic. All of my cats obviously have this as well, all love it.

    Works for my cats

Posted by anonymous on 26th Oct 2022

I have 2 Siamese who suffer from allergies. One who is on immunotherapy and other medications. This food helps with their digestive system for both and the other one is not on any medication. Our vet recommended this food about 6 years ago and I saw an immediate improvement in both of their toilet deposits! Never given them anything else since.

    Seems toxic to my cat..

Posted by anonymous on 26th Apr 2021

I’ve tried everything with this food.. gradually introducing it. Mixed about 15 grains of this with my cats normal dry food and he has been sick and has diarrhoea. We tried this same food a few months ago and the same thing happened. This is meant to be a hypoallergenic food and it seems toxic. My cat is less sick eating dreamies! We are sticking with his Purina hypoallergenic.

    Made my cat ill!

Posted by Goldy on 26th Apr 2021

Stopped giving my cat it after 2 days. She had a reaction to it. Yellow diarrhea and yellowy pus came out of her eyes. This food has something in that is not right. Read on forums that others have had this too! Royal canin will not acknowledge that this food has caused me and others problems. Do not feed your cat this particular hypoallergenic food.
