Complete dietetic feed for adult cats.

Royal Canin® Renal with Beef is a wet food diet nutritionally tailored to help support adult cats with Chronic Renal Insufficiency. Kidney disorders are a common health issue for cats, especially older cats. The diet you give your cat should contain specific nutrients that help to support kidney function. When cats’ kidneys are not functioning efficiently, that often means that phosphorus cannot effectively be removed from the blood stream. Royal Canin® Renal with Beef is formulated with moderate protein and a low phosphorus content to help support kidney function. Royal Canin® Renal with Beef is specially formulated with an adapted energy content to help reduce meal volume and support your cat’s reduced appetite. Royal Canin® Renal with Beef has a specific aromatic profile in order to help stimulate your cat’s reduced appetite and help to overcome food aversions. To appeal to your cat’s appetite, this food contains thin slices in gravy. Attracting your cat to their food bowl can be difficult in cases of food aversion. To cater to each cat’s individual preferences, Royal Canin® Renal wet also comes in two alternative formulations: fish and chicken. It is also available as dry food with crunchy, tailor-made kibble. The variety of formulations, textures and aroma profiles means it’s easier for you to help stimulate and support your cat’s varying appetite. If your cat enjoys a mixed diet of wet and dry food, be sure to reference the on-pack feeding guides to ensure a healthy daily food intake for your cat. Royal Canin® Renal Veterinary Diets for cats are formulated to help support kidney function in cats with Chronic Renal Insufficiency. Each formula in the Royal Canin® Renal Support range contains specific nutrients to provide your cat with a complete and balanced diet.

Renal Support: Formulated with low phosphorus and moderate protein of high quality to support renal function.

Adapted Energy: Adapted energy content to reduce meal volume and help support a reduced appetite.

Aromatic Choice: A specific aromatic profile to help stimulate the cat’s appetite, particularly in cases of food aversion.

    Cat will eat it!

Posted by Ali H on 26th Apr 2021

Bought this as my 16yr old cat has been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease. She’s always like the biscuits in this brand, so thought I’d give this a go and, hey presto, she will eat it!

    Great for my old companion

Posted by Crazy lady on 26th Apr 2021

Renal food was recommended for my 15 year old cat due to kidney problems. Since having started her on this product she is no longer sick everytime she eats. I was worried that she may not eat it as she is very fussy but she likes all three flavours available

    Depends on the cat!

Posted by Megs on 26th Apr 2021

The product like many cat foods is lumps of reconstituted meat and gravy so my elderly cat licked the gravy and left the lumps despite my ultimately trying to mash them with a fork to fool her. It is still a good product - if a tad expensive - for cats with renal failure but maybe not so much for a fussy elderly cat.

Great for cats with renal problems

Posted by anonymous on 26th Apr 2021

The vet recommended this for our old cat when he developed renal problems. 18 months on and he is still doing well and consuming the food with enjoyment. This and his medicines seem to have done the trick. The packets are easy to open and store.

    This is my cats' favourite

Posted by Briony on 26th Apr 2021

Closely followed by the chicken and the beef. Shame the Royal Canin renal food's so expensive - they get through boxes of the stuff. It's great being able to order it one day and have it delivered the next though.

Best price and delivery to suit you

Posted by racquel on 26th Apr 2021

This is the best price I could find online and you can choose your delivery slots to suit you, usually within 48hours, also this is the only renal food my cat will eat, he has had a few teeth out and he finds it hard to chew so I just mush this up like baby food for him, he loves it
