My dog enjoys this and has done since a puppy. She's healthy and her coat is soft and sleek. The ingredients are very similar to higher priced James Wellbeloved food but Skinners is much cheaper. My dog doesn't have any allergies but I wanted to give her a food with simple ingredients in and this is a perfect choice. I alternate with the Salmon & Rice for variety and there's no problems, she loves both. I'd definitely recommend trying this food

Have had problems keeping weight/condition on my young working springer, now almost 2yrs old. Within 2 weeks of gradually introducing this food her condition and weight improved and she is now thriving with a vibrant coat! Seems to contain a good balance of quality ingredients for a fair price.

I read a LONG review on dry foods for dogs and this particular one came out very well. It's not full of all the miller-material that dogs refuse to eat. In fact, my Boxer girl LOVES it and woofs it down as it comes from the bag - no need to make it more appetising with no added gravy or tidbits. And

this is my dog's fav. he has allergies and skin condition which this food is absolutely excellent for which does not flare his condition up. Its excellent value for money for a highly recommended quality of food, as there's nothing as important to a dog's diet especially with his condition, and being a dry food. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Did some research after our JRT developed anal glands problems, not wanting to risk an operation I thought changing his diet to improve her roughage intake may help. Not only is she problem free now but she loves this. Her coat and overall fitness is much improved.

Have left a review on one of the other varieties but Amos (winner of Heroic Hearing Dog of the Year 2009) absolutely LOVES this and great for taking to work as I teach in the evenings. Also AFFORDABLE as I am on a low income too. It is quality food with a higher meat content (important for heart health) than many dog foods
