Designed for multi-cat households, the SureFlap DualScan Microchip Cat Flap reads your pets microchip on the way in and out of the house. The DualScan cat flap allows you to set permissions for each pet, keeping certain cats inside whilst allowing others to come and go. As an animal approaches the cat flap scans for a microchip or collar tag and if an authorised pet is detected the door unlocks. The safety mode means that indoor pets can still gain entry if they escape through an open door or window. The cat flap can store up to 32 pets. Ideal for multi-pet households.
For glass installations a SureFlap Cat Flap Mounting Adaptor is required.For wall installations a SureFlap Cat Flap Mounting Adaptor and SureFlap Cat Flap Tunnel Extenders may be required.These accessories are not included with the product and must be purchased separately.

No good for clever cats!
We have three cats, and lock them in at night. It took Dotty around a week to work out if it’s in the “come in” only mode, and she wants to get out, all she needs to do is put her head close to the door, till the lock clicks open, and then she can put her claw under it, pull it TOWARDS her, and sneak out under it! Now we have to monitor, which cats have come in, make sure none has gone out again, and then put the manual lock across. And it means one can't trust it to keep one cat in, while letting the others out. Either my cats are geniuses, or there is a fundamental problem!

Great for keeping cats safe
This is perfect for keeping new cats safely indoors whilst still allowing others in and out. It's easy to use. One of my cats is scared of the noise the lock makes when it unlocks, but that's no reason to give this any less than 5 stars. He will get used to it eventually when he sees others go in and out unharmed I'm sure.

The best cat flap — ever
This cat flap was easy to fit, well-made, and very easy to program. I had anticipated having to hold down buttons while dragging my reluctant moggy past the sensor but no, it's much easier than that. Press a button, and the next cat through is granted access. I was thrilled with that, and it works like a dream. My cat gets in and out with no problems, but Daisy — the neighbours cat that looks like a cow and eats like a pig and used to invite herself to dinner every night— can't get in any more. I really couldn't be happier with this cat flap. Would recommend it to anyone.

Still in a flap.
A well made quality item and am very pleased with it. It works well and programming is a simple matter of pressing a button then getting the cat to go through. If only you could teach the cat that simply.

Microchip catflap
Got this couple of weeks ago as my nervous cat was being bullied by neighbours cats that kept coming into our house. It came the day after ordering it, was easy to fit and despite the clunk noise when Popoff goes into the tunnel it has made her much happier. Thank you.

very practical modern technology
Not only is access denied to all but our registered cats, but also the cat flap is positively locked between uses, which keeps draughts at a minimum.

Good quality and delivered very fast
This is a nice solid quality cat flap which is easy to fit. It also has a 3 year guarantee which is useful. It's easy to program and, although it does make a slight clunk noise when it locks/unlocks, it's not loud and the cat didn't seem to notice. It will be perfect for letting the cat in and out and preventing my house rabbits from doing the same!
