Best purchase ever!
My cat has been using this cat flap for 6 months now and I’ve gotta say it’s the best thing ever! After reading another review about the signal box not working if it’s too far away, I was apprehensive. However, my signal box and cat flap are in two separate rooms and it has worked just fine. The app is great for monitoring my cat’s activities. When I’m at work I can see whether she’s in or out and gives me peace of mind. My boyfriend, previously not a cat fan, downloaded the app on his phone too and it really made him bond with the cat in ways I never thought I’d see. He’s made me feel less like a crazy cat lady and more like we’ve created a little family unit. (Don’t judge me). The main reason I bought this cat flap was to prevent other cats coming in and eating all the food. The microchip reader allows only the cats that you program to use it. I’ve heard stories about cats sneaking in after your cat etc. But this product has really worked for me on at least two occasions that I’ve witnessed with my own eyes. My cat is experiencing issues with the neighbourhood bully cat. A couple of times now, she’s run in through the cat flap after being chased by the bully. The microchip sensor worked super fast, preventing the bully cat from following her in!! I wish I could’ve had filmed it. The bully cat was banging on the cat flap for ages after being refused entry!! Honestly, can’t fault this product.

Great product
We bought this once our kittens were old enough to go out, as during the day we're both out working and it's nice to know they're coming and going, and to have the option to keep them inside for whatever reason. It's a solid product that works as well as your wi-fi does.

Installation simple et programmation facile. On peut modifier les autorisations d’entrée et sortie à partir de l’appli à distance. Mes 5 chats entrent et sortent à leur guise... mais les autres restent dehors. On reçoit une notification à chaque passage. L’appli permet d’avoir un historique et calcule les temps passés dehors pour chaque chat. Très bon produit.

does not have what online description says it doe!
Bought this because I wanted to have an automatic nightime closure. it does not have the ability to close cat flap from the mobile app. if you a cat not to go out at night you have to manually change the dial on cat flap, like all normal ones. the hub is okay but the mains lead and network cables are only 1 metre long and the hub needs to be within 30 feet of flap which would be difficult for most households. the actual flap is of a normal standard and fits the same as my older one.
