When your cat approaches the cat flap from the outside, it reads their microchip and the door unlocks. When installing into glass, the SureFlap Mounting Adapter is required. This is because glass requires a circular hole. The mounting adapter ensures that the flap fits into the glass correctly with no gaps. The adapter can also be used when installing into a wall as it leaves a smooth and clean finish.

My cat escapes
I've had this now for about 2 years, easy to use and always picks up my cats microchips. My cat is some kind of escape artist however, who manages to get out even when the flap is locked, I think he bends the side with his paws and shoved through it. It only locks at the bottom so if you have a crazy cat- this can happen! Lucky for me its so much effort for him he rarely does and the curfew option means he can get back in once he's made his escape

Perfect pawfect
Easy to install and it only took a couple of days for our very timid cat to gain the confidence to use. He’s now in and out all the time, enjoying his sense of freedom and we have no litter tray to clean out-bonus!

Il faudrait greffer la puce sur le nez de ma chatte, puisque l’ouverture se fait trop près de la vire. Résultat elle s’approche de la vitre mais l’ouverture ne se fait pas

Works well
This cat flap replaced an identical one that “wore out”. It wouldn’t release its catch when the cats presented their chips to the reader so the cats got locked out all night one night. We tried to fix it but couldn’t so bought this new one. Glad that it was on sale at a reduced price. So far, it’s working well.

I bought the catflap to replace one I had bought previously. Why go for another product when this one is so good.

Does what it's meant to
Easy to install, and works as it should. Only had it 2 weeks so can't comment on battery life, but so far I'm pleased.
