The unique number on your cat’s microchip is permanently stored in the memory of the cat flap, even when the batteries are removed. When installing into glass, the SureFlap Mounting Adapter is required. This is because glass requires a circular hole. The mounting adapter ensures that the flap fits into the glass correctly with no gaps. The adapter can also be used when installing into a wall as it leaves a smooth and clean finish.

Everything a cat flap should be!!
Excellent cat flap...very well made and works well...can't fault it! I'm not usually one to write reviews but was so pleased with it, despite other reviewers comments about being on the slightly small side, which was a slight concern as we have to 7kg cats! I find it no smaller than any other standard size cat flaps.....had two types in the past year, one standard one and one magnetic, both of which would not close properly, but even when they did, the local Tom was able to cleverly stick it's claw on a small ledge and manage to pull the flap outwards to gain access....this one is designed differently so it can't!!

This catflap works well with microchips on my 4 cats and keeps other neighbourhood cats out but one of my cats is always able to get out even when I lock it and we had a painful experience when he got his paw trapped. He was screaming in pain and he bit me badly as I had to help him release his paw. Now I won't use the locking features again as too scared of repeat performance.

I am so pleased with this product and it's so efficient and easy to set up - press the button, wait for it to flash and the cat goes through! Very robust too compared to the normal cheaper cat flaps. Service was good and product arrived quickly.

Took my 7 yr old cat two weeks of encouragement & 'training' before he would use this cat flap!! but wow, what a great product. Easy to set up & maintain. Had to raise the outside step to get cat in best position but definitely worth the money!!

Beware the entrance is smaller than other cat flaps! My cat does not like this product at all! His old cat flap was an inch larger in circumference; this one is a tight fit for him and he would rather sit in the pouring rain than go through it! Easy to set up once you have the hole cut. Great idea

If i use it for my 2 cats microchips they just get locked out so we now get every cat in the neighbourhood eating their food otherwise my 2 would be unable to get in & out!!
