The SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap uses your cat’s existing microchip like an electronic door key to keep unwanted animals out of your home. The unique number on your cat’s microchip is permanently stored in the memory of the cat flap, even when the batteries are removed. When your cat approaches the cat flap from the outside, it reads their microchip and the door unlocks. When installing into glass, the SureFlap Mounting Adapter is required. This is because glass requires a circular hole. The mounting adapter ensures that the flap fits into the glass correctly with no gaps. The adapter can also be used when installing into a wall as it leaves a smooth and clean finish.

Bonne fabrication un peu lourdingue
Pose facile et mode d’emploi très détaillé. Esthétique conçue pour les murs et cloisons donc un peu lourde pour les portes. Reste à éduquer le chat pour l’enregistrer et l’utiliser. Pas évident!

I recently adopted a young cat. This cat flap is wonderful. I like the fact that it recognises her chip so I don't get visits from any neighbouring cats. Best of all are the options it offers. I keep her in at night and this is easy to do using the cat flap settings. It would be perfect if it had a cover to stop her "having a go at it" when it is locked but I cope by pushing the kitchen bin in front of it. I would highly recommend it .

Fonctionne très bien. Je la recommande vivement. Notre chat a un peu de mal à traverser car le tunnel plastique est large pour une simple porte. Avec un tapis devant ça va tout de même mieux ! Il a du apprendre à pousser avec la tête et non avec la patte pour rentrer mais en 1 journée c'était acquis.

perfect replacement cat flap
I am now on my 3rd & ;microchip cat flap & in about 10 years with my previous 2 being from a very much more expensive brand. They had either stopped working altogether or were letting in other cats - nothing could be done, apparently! I chose SureFlap because I'd fitted one of these in my daughters house 2 years ago and it is simple to use and works well. PetSupermarket gave an excellent price and, as always, I'm very happy with their service. It went in well despite looking smaller than the previous cat flap, and my 4 cats can all use it easily - even the Maine Coon

After a couple of days of resistance my cat has mastered using the cat flap ... however if I’m near the door she still expects the Butler to open it for her haha
