The SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap uses your cat’s existing microchip like an electronic door key to keep unwanted animals out of your home. The unique number on your cat’s microchip is permanently stored in the memory of the cat flap, even when the batteries are removed. When your cat approaches the cat flap from the outside, it reads their microchip and the door unlocks. It remains locked for any other animals who try to gain entry, creating a secure environment for your cat. Resident cats are less stressed once they realise their home is no longer being invaded.

When installing into glass, the SureFlap Mounting Adapter is required. This is because glass requires a circular hole. The mounting adapter ensures that the flap fits into the glass correctly with no gaps. The adapter can also be used when installing into a wall as it leaves a smooth and clean finish.

Safe and sound
My 22 year old cat was being terrorised by new cats on the block. Fitting the SureFlap cat flap has resulted in no unwanted visitors coming into our home, taking advantage of her and eating her food. Provides peace of mind so I’m not worrying about other cats in our house and she’s safe and much happier in herself.

Totally fed up of the neighbourhood bullies stealing food and unsettling our cat, so we bought this. That stopped them in their tracks! Great product ... sturdy and very clear and easy instructions for use. Very competitive price too, especially with free next day delivery.

Great Cat Flap
I have owned a couple of these and have recommended it to friends. When you live in London, it's the only way to allow your cats the freedom to go outside, with out lots of other cats getting in. They are easy to fit and my cats found them easy to use. A flashing red light lets you know when the batteries are low. The magnet fell out of one of my cat flaps, having owned it for several years and SureFlap replaced the whole front free of charge, which I thought was excellent customer service.

Yes it works!
Unsure about this for some time before buying - but glad I did. It slotted easily into the hole from the previous Catmate flap, all I had to do was drill two screw holes, the old ones were covered by the flap. Followed instructions for setting the microchip numbers of both cats before fitting, and no problem. Both cats were comfortable using it within 24 hours. I rather hope my tom of 4.25kg doesn't put on weight though - he's large limbed and seems to take longer than my small girl to ease himself through, or maybe he's just being cautious. So far they're happy - and so am I.

Old cat with new tricks.
Our rescue cat is almost 15 years old and we were worried that he might not be able to cope with a cat flap with a comparitivly deep tunnel which he needed to enter through.Although it took about a week to get him going in he is now more than happy using it with no inducements,even though we had to keep it completely open for a couple of days for him to have confidence inside the tunnel. We then left it in the neutral position for a couple more days and finally activated the chip and allowed him to gradually gain his confidence. He is now totally confident with the flap and we can feel safe from other local cats coming into the house. Overall an excellent product.

end of big fat black cat
sureflap microchip cat flap. Worth every Penny as it now keeps a strange cat out of the house, out of their food and both my cats can use it simply with no real training. I fitted it myself and go nose to nose with Big Fat Black Cat who can't get in. Sorted.

Good Quality
I've had this catflap installed for the last 8 months now and had no issues what so ever with it. I have random cats come to the flap and like that they can't get in as this was my main issue which made me want to invest in a microchip one. It has never failed to forget my cats even when changing the batteries. I would definitely recommend this to anyone :)
