The SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap uses your cat’s existing microchip like an electronic door key to keep unwanted animals out of your home. The unique number on your cat’s microchip is permanently stored in the memory of the cat flap, even when the batteries are removed. When your cat approaches the cat flap from the outside, it reads their microchip and the door unlocks. It remains locked for any other animals who try to gain entry, creating a secure environment for your cat. Resident cats are less stressed once they realise their home is no longer being invaded.

When installing into glass, the SureFlap Mounting Adapter is required. This is because glass requires a circular hole. The mounting adapter ensures that the flap fits into the glass correctly with no gaps. The adapter can also be used when installing into a wall as it leaves a smooth and clean finish.

Not for the bigger cat!
This is a great cat flap and very reasonable considering it's a microchip flap. Unlike the more expensive, it doesn't tell you which cats are in or out but that's a buy pointless anyway since cats can come and go out of doors when you do. It has a nice soft click to open and doesn't clatter shut. My boys are massive so they are reluctant to leave by it but can get in fine (they can get out fine too but choose to look pitifyingly at me to let them out). I'd recommend it for small to medium cats (ie up to 5kg).

Excellent product
Excellent service and brilliant product. The catflap was very easy to fit (just needed to make the previous Staywell hole a little larger) and has worked reliably ever since. I'd certainly recommend this product. As I'd heard that some cats don't take to the little click easily, I used the catflap as a food bowl on the floor (in programme mode) prior to installation, then put some biscuits in it. When my cats dipped in to take the biscuits, they not only got used to the click, but also authorised their micro-chips! The system worked a treat!

Entspricht voll und ganz
Dank detaillierter Beschreibung ist der Einbau und die Programmierung problemlos. Die Klappe funktioniert einwandfrei. Unsere Katzen sind mit 7,4 kg (Main Coon - Siam) formatfüllend, kommen aber noch durch. Sie sind gewohnt, dass sich die Klappe öffnen lässt und reagieren mit Unverständnis, wenn wir sie aus irgendeinem Grund fixieren. Ein Lob auch an den äußerst schnellen Versand.

Chatières très pratiques
Notre chaton de 6 mois a réussi sans problème à utiliser les chatieres, malgré le fait qu'il faut pousser la trappe et malgré le petit clic que l'on entend. Nous avons fait monté les chatieres par un menuisier car nous avions une porte acier. Mais pour le moment c'est nickel. On attend de voir dans la durée, car le prix étant élevé on espère que c'est durable !

Does what it says on the tin!
We eventually had our two cats chipped and bought a SureFlap cat flap as we were all getting fed up with opportunist cats coming in and nicking their grub! Absolutely marvellous! We used cat mint to tempt them to come to the door to activate the chip reader, everything worked exactly as it should and we are all now completely stress free. Fitting was a doddle - the most difficult bit was making sure the screw holes were perpendicular to the door.

Excellent product
It's more than 40 days that I'm using the product and till now works like a charm. No problem with the installation (on garage metalic door) and the programming function was super easy. My cat got used to it straight away! Realy this is a great product!

Bien mais loquet un peu léger
Déçu par ce produit : depuis que je cherche à laisser un de mes deux chats dehors, la chatière ne donne plus satisfaction. Il pousse fort avec sa tête et finit par ouvrir la porte qui se tord sous la pression et le loquet ne la tient pas, le chat rentre finalement assez facilement. De plus, le contour de la porte est parti en morceaux en quelques mois. Dommage cela semblait être un bon produit, la reconnaissance des puces est très bien faite, mais elle ne va pas durer longtemps.

Les chats errant qui urinent dans mon garage c'est terminé. Seul mon chat rentre grace a sa puce électronique. C'est vraiment génial et sur medicanimal la chatière est beaucoup moins chere. Attention ne convient pas pour les gros chats un peu obese

Fantastic !
We bought this as a replacement for our conventional cat flap to keep an unwanted neighbourhood cat out of our house. Every night after we had gone to bed it would come in, eat our cats food & "spray" its disgusting smell around our kitchen! Our two cats were too scared to chase it out. The microchip flap is fantastic. Our cats learned how to use it within minutes and are very happy with it. I am relieved & not having to worry about our pesky visitor anymore. It is worth every penny.
